He completed about a fourth of our new cottage framing and talked my sister in California into paying him half the contract and then left the job, He won’t call me back about refunding $2000 to my elder sister and he sent a slanderous letter defining why he left. He is a liar, a con artist and a thief. He is obviously experiencing dire financial stress. He has several bad reviews and I wish I had researched his company in greater detail. I’m debating trying to file financial fraud of an elder charges in hopes that it puts a stop to his thieving ways."

"My experience with Pest Ban and their family of companies has been one of the worst vendor experiences i've ever had. In November of 2023 we hired PestBan to get rid of roof rats that had infested our house from overhanding trees. Throughout the course of the service, which cost several thousand dollars, i encountered: 1. Perhaps the biggest issue is that we still have rats! Four months later and the rats have effectively beaten and outsmarted the company whose sole job is to get rid of them! 2.Overpromise and under delivery -- the technician providing the quote assured me that they would not stop until the job was done and the rats were gone. They would work top to bottom and inside / out to get the job done. Boy did this not happen! 3. Maybe the worst communication i've ever seen -- following each appointment i asked for a follow up appointment and tried to set dates to get exclusions and cleaning / deodorization done. This never happened! Not once! Every time i had to call them myself to schedule the next service or i would never hear back. Each time i complained and the issue never got fixed. 4. Not our job -- I was told multiple after pointing out new entry / exit points for the rats that Pest Ban doesn't handle that and that i'd have to find a different vendor. This wouldn't be such a big deal if the technician didn't promise comprehensive service. 5. Low quality work -- You would think that Pest Ban would be good at their only job -- finding and closing off the rat entry points. But boy was that not the case. After each visit i went around and found places that they missed and had to call them back out and point out the gap. Even their own technicians made repeated comments such as, "i'm not sure how they missed that. It's really obvious". This went on for at least 4 visits in a row. So, in summary, find a better vendor! Pest Ban will charge you a lot and leave you with a lighter wallet, a list of complaints, and a house full of rodents."
