"The contractor removed one tank containing filtering media the added a larger one with a media that was sufficient for the iron content that had to be removed.  He further adjusted the system and corrected the water flow and backwash cycle.   Other tanks were cleaned along with the flow valve for proper functioning. The contractor was in and out in four hours using two workers that were both polite and competent. Everything was cleaned up and was left in better shape than when they arrived. From the time they put the new system on line our water has been perfect.  We are so happy after several contractors worked on our system for 10 years and none of them has gotten it right. <br /> WE RECOMMEND THIS CONTRACTOR TO ANYONE WITH BAD DRINKING WATER!"

"A wiring/breaker mismatch was the fault of the HVAC installer and Danny did not have to make that repair (involving pulling new wire to the AC) Additionally no repairs to the well pump was made only diagnostics ( the relay was fouled and still needs replacing). Dannys work was limited installing a GFCI and some breakers and misc work totaling not more that $75 in materials and less than 2 hours. I asked him why he still charged the full price when the full repairs were not necessary? He claimed those repairs would not have been included anyway. So bottom line he charged me $455 for less than $75 on materials (likely less than $45) and less than 2 hours of work despite not needing to "make all of the repairs noted". I buy and renovate 3-5 house/year so I have a decent understanding of costs. That's well beyond the prevailing rate for a simple service call by a journeymen electrician. His unwillingness to adjust the bill to reflect the actual realized work is unprofessional."

"I previously purchased a coupon for Benjamin Franklin Plumbing to replace an outdoor hose faucet. The faucet was replaced and the technician was helpful, but he explained my emergency shutoff valve didn't work, and I should get it repaired. So I purchased this coupon to install a emergency shutoff valve. A different technician came out and inspected the shutoff valve. Unfortunately he explained he couldn't do the work because our main water pipe is plastic not metal. I called the office manager who was helpful, but confirmed they couldn't replace the emergency shutoff valve when the main water pipe is plastic."
