"David kindly responded to my request for a handyman on HomeAdvisor. I sent him photos of the areas I needed done. He came by to meet me and to have me show him the list of projects I needed done. He went home and made out a proposal of the costs, and I accepted it. He came the next day, and that day he completed everything I had requested. I had another company doing the painting, and they were to install the front entrance door. But because the new door was larger than the existing one, I needed the entire entrance door frame installed with the door, and David was able to do that. David also trimmed down a new bifold door. Although the door was the correct size, it was a very tight fit. David trimmed the door, and now it opens and closes very easily. David worked on multiple projects, from baseboards to bifold doors to a wireless chime doorbell. He was very professional and competent in his work. He is an excellent pro. "

"Mike and his crew (Charles, Justin, and Jesse) just did a fantastic job with my home! They were very professional, courteous, and tidy during the installation and treated us like family. We have a two story 5 bedroom/3100 sq ft home that has a total of 26 windows and 3 doors (one of which is a set of french doors). As anyone who has put up aluminum storm panels can attest, that many windows and doors are a nightmare for panels! My husband and I decided that rolling shutters would ensure our family's safety in the future. I consulted with Mike to develop my home's shutter protection plan, he devised innovative ways to develop a rolling shutter in a tricky location on my home where other companies said a rolling shutter would not be possible. He outlined pros and cons (as well as cost differentials) of the different types of shutters I was considering for certain areas of my home. Ultimately, we chose to enclose our back patio with two sets of accordions, and shielded our remaining windows with a combination of motorized and non-motorized rolling shutters. If I had only one regret, it would be not saving that little extra to spring for ALL motorized. Since I have both motorized and manual rolling shutters, I know how SUPER nice it is to just push a button. The manual crank shutters are easy enough to do, but the renote-controlled ones are truly a worthwhile indulgence!!! Either way you go, you just can't beat how aesthetically pleasing and convenient the rolling shutters and accordion shutters are over the builder-provided aluminum storm panels. I can't say enough good things about this company and the service and product that they provide!"

"The woodwork is exacting and turned out very well. He re-used the 30 year old baseboard and trimmed it to fit the need. Finish was also excellent with all nail holes, seams, and joints caulked in. The transition strip took more work than I thought but is now securely fastened with screws into dowels drilled into the concrete floor. If I had done it I would have used concrete nails and ended up fixing it again soon. Further, the pair helped me replace furniture in two rooms that had been moved for the tile job. It could not be moved back until his work was complete. They cleaned everything up and asked several times if I was satisfied and if they could do anything else. After a quick quote for some painting they are returning soon to take on another job I don't have time for. Lorenz will also fix a broken tile at a threshold that the tile installer did not finish. In all fairness, that repair was not related to the tile work performed, but an old break that needed repair. Just the same, when one guy did not want to take it on Lorenz rose to the task with confidence. I would recommend Hansen Repair Services, LLC to anyone."
