There are places where the fence is nearly 6" off the ground which would be a huge problem if we had a small dog. The gates look very rustic and cheap. "<p>Invisible Fence staked the existing fence perimeter and handed me two collars for the two dogs.  They spent about 5-10 minutes showing me how to train the dogs.  I had them return a few weeks later and show my wife and kids how to work with the dogs as well. </p> <p>So I paid $1200 for two collars, a few flags around the yard, and 15 to 20 minutes of learning to train the dogs.</p> <p>Net result, one and a half years later, is we have one dog who is afraid of grass and another dog who wont stay in the yard at all (hits the perimeter on a dead run and doesn't get shocked...).  Cant really recommend this to anyone.  Buy replacement batteries online as you can find them for half of what they sell them for.</p> <p>There are MUCH less costly alternatives at the home improvement stores if your dog can be trained.</p> <br />"
