They were prompt to arrive, completed the job in the time promised, affordable, respectful, they cleaned up ALL of their supplies and mess when the job was done. "Harold is very experienced and knowledgeable. He was good to explain exactly the work that would be involved and what to expect. His crew were polite and friendly. I felt comfortable having them work at the house even when my husband wasn't home. The floors look great and I am so glad we did the work when we did. The only negative things that I could mention are the price, the scheduling, and the cleanliness of the job after they left. Now, maybe I am expecting too much. It's been a long time since I have had to replace floors but I couldn't believe the price. The labor wasn't as much as the cost of the flooring but I spent twice as much as I wanted on flooring. Also, there were some miscommunications about scheduling. We were up against a tight deadline and I made that clear when I booked the job. We got pushed back further than initially agreed upon. Harold did still manage to get it done in time but they had to work on a Sunday to do it. Finally, when the crew left, the floors were a dusty mess. Not to mention there was extra glue left on some of our base boards. Again, maybe this is the norm but I just think it makes a company stand out when they leave the job as clean as when they arrived. All in all, I would still recommend Harold because he is so good at what he does and he is a nice man.
