"Jeremiah did an excellent job in painting our finished basement. He was very responsive to any text messages, stayed true to his estimate, and was very detailed and professional in his work. I will definitely hire him again for another painting project and wholeheartedly recommend his services. You will not be disappointed. ."

"He came prepared to paint my kitchen dining room, however he came with a plastic roll to be used to prevent paint drips. he never used the roll. I was left with paint drop on my floor, oven top, and top of refrigerator. So I cannot give a 5 star review. "

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Shiocton, WI

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
