"We worked with SeaTown to do a rewire of our home. They replaced the knob and tube wiring, box, outlets, some lights, switches throughout the entire house and in the garage. They also ran networking cable between 3 different rooms in the house. They were prompt with sending someone out to give us an estimate. We were already aware that they are not the cheapest company, but that they have a great reputation for quality of service. The estimator gave us a candid evaluation of the wiring in our house and let us know that once they do a certain amount of work, they might as well consider it a full rewire. This was helpful because we quickly got to specifying all the things we would love to have done if we are already going to get this much work done. While we had a number in mind for the rewire, the estimate was more expensive. They tried to get creative with us and gave us some options, but in the end we decided to go with everything we discussed. Once the work began, they were like a well-oiled machine. They showed up when they said they would and finished the job on time. I was especially impressed with Blake, who led the job like a true pro. He was responsive when we would call, completely open to talking at any time to discuss progress and updates to the plan. The work they did is fantastic. I would recommend them for anyone doing a full house rewire. I would also recommend considering that a project like this will likely require a decent amount of drywall repair. Blake gave us a great recommendation to get the repair work done, which was an additional cost but much better than replacing entire sections of drywall. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because I would have have liked to have known about some issues with our house before the work began. Up until the end, there were more things being revealed and we simply ran out of money. The job is done and it is done well, but I think a more thorough pre-work inspection would have helped to keep us to a firm budget."
