We worked with Steve to design and construct 4 spaces in the home - a new mudroom, a new basement kitchen in a newly built entertainment space, a new basement mudroom and bathroom. We chose a different look in each space - stained walnut, lacquered wood with gold inlay, and painted wood - he did a phenomenal job throughout the home. Steve is patient and kind, and a good listener to understand what the client wants. He worked relentlessly to make sure the color matched my expectations on wood he stained. His hardware and hardware installation is impressive - all of my cabinets are functioning beautifully 2 years later with zero misalignment occurring. He is creative - added a hidden cubby in my mudroom wall paneling! I am so thrilled with his craftsmanship and hope to use him again if i can get around to redoing the last 4 rooms wit plumbing they haven’t been done since the house was built."

"The entire experience from start to finish was exceptional. Everyone we dealt with was professional and helpful, patiently answering questions and providing options. We had our existing cabinets refaced, and added a base unit and wall cabinets to a wall where we previously had a hutch. The base unit consisted of 6 drawers as well as a pull out for 2 trash receptacles (1 for trash and 1 for recycling). The work was completed in 3 days. The installers were friendly, on time and very neat. They used some type of vacuum that collected any dust and at the end of each day the kitchen was left clean. The cost was reasonable and there were no surprise additional charges. There were a couple of challenges with our kitchen that were handled expertly. I finally have a brand new, bright white kitchen (with lots of drawers) for the fraction of the cost of a complete remodel. I can’t say enough good things about this company, and I definitely recommend them."

"I have worked with Mike’s Powerhouse Crew for 4 years on various renovations of my Cape Cod cottage. We started with new stairs to the basement, then new stairs to access the second floor, with space created downstairs for a washer/dryer. After that, a conversion of the attic into a loft bedroom, with an office and full bath plus three 5 new windows. The layout is fantastic. And they did a kitchen renovation that required moving a wall over about 5 feet to create a really nice eating nook. Lots of cabinetry was redone around a new stove and microwave, and lots more. Every one of these jobs benefited from the clever way that Mike and his team designed the renovations to make them work really well, when everyone else thought they would be impossible. The attention to detail and the finishing touches were really great, too. No problem when I asked for something more—they added it to the list and charged me for the extra work at the rate we agreed to. The costs always seemed like a bargain. As a teacher, I would give the team an A+!"
