"We worked with Mason and his team at Sino-American to remove our existing chain link fence and broken iron gate and replace with a new wooden fence and custom built gate for our DC rowhouse. We coordinated with our next door neighbor who was getting the same work done and had worked with Mason before and they built both our fences and gates in teh same day. Mason was very professional and communicative throughout the entire process and produced top notch work that we are very happy with. Our project was unique and complicated given several obstacles including our existing ground level deck, our neighbor's property sitting a few feet higher than ours and a huge tree on the property line that posed some design challenges. Ultimately, Mason and his team came up with a great design that accomplished all of our objectives and looks great. "Steve Norfolk and his crew dug down to the footing and applied the waterproof material a section at a time.  The original plan was to dig the entire area first and then apply the waterproof material all at the same time.  However daily torrential rains turned the area into a sea of mud, so he decided to do it a section at a time to minimize problems associated with the rain.  He had to break up a concrete slab (porch) for 1/2 the front, and approximately 25 feet of driveway next to the house.  Progress was slow due to the rain and mud, but Steve steadfastly pursued the completion of the job despite the setbacks.  Although justifiably discouraged by the rain and lack of progress, he exhibited a positive "can do" attitude and kept at it.  The finished product was professionally done.  Backfill and all concrete were properly completed, and grass seed applied.  Steve is a conscientious professional who knows his business and can be relied upon to do the work he says he will accomplish.  I would use him again in a heartbeat.
