"We needed to get my house painted for sale. I entertained numerous bids. Jose was on the order of half of what the others were charging, but came strongly recommended by a relative. Further, he was very familiar with prepping a house for sale and had numerous suggestions for various difficulties we faced. Jose was prompt and courteous at each of our meetings. He has promptly responded to emails and texts and phone calls even over the holidays. He was flexible when I needed to move his start date. After setting a price for the work to be done, I discovered additional prep work that needed to be done before starting paint. He was able to complete that work for the original cost. His painters arrived en masse to start wall prep first thing on day 1 and made extensive progress each day. Even as work was progressing, Jose was stopping by frequently to review the painter's work. He discovered that certain areas that were not to be painted actually showed some errant brush strokes from prior paint jobs that were now painfully obvious. He was able to quickly price and then complete the additional work at an affordable rate and still complete all the work on time. Jose was able to quickly understand and estimate the original job and complete all the work, including the additional areas for less than 2/3 of any of the other bidders on the project. After we finished our walk through, he offered to stay in touch if we had any questions or if we discovered any oversights. While I don't anticipate any, I am glad that he has been honest, frank and straightforward throughout the whole process and has produced top notch work. I would hire him again for any additional work we would need to have done, and I heartily recommend him to anyone else with paint work to do."

"My cedar siding had experienced significant woodpecker damage at the east end of my home, coupled with bird damage and dry rot of the NE corner vertical trim board. With primary materials (trim board, a small amount of spare cedar siding, wood filler, paint and stain provided by me, S & J provided two workers for a full day. The did an excellent job and the house looks whole and tight again. This was a welcome relief over a prior plan to completely re-side the house. Jerry and Stacey at S&J are great to deal with. "It was a pleasure again working with Yosuary Diaz and his team on our unfinished basement renovation. We hired them before for whole house interior painting. I would definitely hire him again for other home renovations. Him and his crew are great and are very skilled at what they do. Diaz was not the cheapest, but also not the most expensive contractor, but overall, well worth it! We had our entire basement gutted out and rebuilt. Diaz and his team rebuilt everything from the sub-flooring, new walls, and plumbing...and other major infrastructure that is not always thought of. We love our new basement with a complete bathroom! "We recently quoted out the painting of our front hallway (includes vaulted ceiling) to 4 different vendors. We chose Perfect Painters because they offered the same level of service (and paint quality) as the other three, but were the most competitively priced (two of the other vendors over-quoted us for a very straightforward project - walls were in great shape: it was just a refresh paint job on the upper walls above the chair rails and molding. One was $1,100 more expensive than Perfect Painters!). When I told these vendors that they had lost the bid due to pricing, both suggested that they were "very comfortable" with the prices they quoted us and suggested that we might be getting a lower quality job from Perfect Painters. I can assure you that was not the case - the team arrived on time and quickly got to work covering the area in tape and plastic. The team of three expanded to 4 or 5 in the afternoon to complete the job in about 6 hours (2 coats on walls, ceiling and crown molding). They did an excellent job and left the space as they found it. I have no hesitation in recommending them and will use them again for my next painting job. Beware of other vendors out there who will jack up the price and try to justify it by suggesting that the job is complicated by elevation (the ceiling is about 19 feet high at the highest point - its called a ladder!, or the fact that they have to tape the banister!) Next time, I won't waste my time and simply have Perfect Painters do the job for me. They are honest and straightforward and the crew who did the job were very friendly and efficient."
