"I contacted Cliff and he was out in a couple of days and inspected and measured my roof. He provided me with an estimate within a couple of days and also gave me the opportunity to put on a high impact shingle for slightly more cost that provided me with a 125.00 savings per year on my home insurance. He also did all the work submitting a claim on my old shingles that resulted in a claim check coming to me last week. I was very pleased to have someone knowledgeable of what and how to properly submit a claim. The job was done in one day and appears to be well done. The cleanup was very good. I found only a few nails and scraps around the house. If I have any complaint the cost ended up about 10% more than he estimated but that price was still less than several other estimates I got. So I am not complaining about that just mentioning that. Cliff and his crew provided a very stress free experience getting this job done as requested. <br />"

"Gary McCollars crew got it done in 2 days. Framed it out on the first day. Then poured on the second day. Rebar and fiber added. Weather cooperated. Falling leaves were a bit of a hassle, but they got it done. They came back later after they finished it, to cover it with plastic, because it was hit or miss on the weather radar for storms popping up. Didn't want it ruined. <br /> Gary has a larger crew of about 6 guys, so they could get it done in one continuous pour. <br /> They came back and filled in the edges, where the forms were, with some top soil. The top soil had a fair number of really hard large chunks in it. But a minor issue. I just chopped them up with a flat blade shovel. <br /> Yes, it was expensive. But he has a larger crew to pay. Small jobs can be done with just two guys. But a large driveway like this needs the extra hands to get it done quick and in one continuous pouring. <br /> They cleaned up good. The driveway looks great. I am sure it will last a longgggg time. <br /> Out of the 4 concrete guys I contacted, Gary was the only one to give me a bid. Two did not respond at all. And one other came out and talked to me, but never submitted a bid. <br /> Gary has done other driveways in the area here and they look great. <br /> I would not hesitate to call him again if I need more flat work done. <br /> <br /> <br />"

"We bought our house in mid-May 2012 and planned to move in July 1. We did the demo work ourselves. Our first contractor and crew was slow, disorganized, and messy. They had no sense of time. We hired Paul to put up our fence about mid-June, but when he saw the state of our house project, we ended up talking about that and hiring him to take over as general contractor. He brought in extra people to try to meet our deadline. <br /> When Paul came on board the beams had been replaced, some electrical and plumbing work had been done, the gas furnace was in, but the water heater still needed to be installed. The windows and patio door were in. The basement stairs had been done and work started on the downstairs bath. The walls were still at the studs. The place was a mess. <br /> Paul put together a crew that worked efficiently and even cleaned up at the end of each day. A lot of the previous plumbing work had to be redone. Apparently we'd had an unlicensed plumber previously. The on-demand heater was difficult to install but the new plumbing crew figured it out together with our furnace guy. Paul brought in a drywaller who did a wonderful job getting the walls up and finished. They even painted which we had planned to do ourselves. <br /> We could always contact him by text him to find out how things were going, what he needed. We didn't feel like we had to be there every day to stay on top of things. He understood our time schedule. We didn't feel like we were walking through a dump when we visited the house. He helped us through the inspection process. We didn't finish quite on time, but considering everything we did well to be just a few days later. We ended up spending a lot more money than we'd anticipated, but we got quality work done when we needed it. <br />"

"They were very clear on what needed to be done and when finished explained exactly what they had done for the estimate that they originally gave me. I would hire again in the future."

"the over all experience was great. I spoke to him and he gave me an estimated quote of around 500.00 but he had to see all that had to be done. When he came to look at house and give me a quote he showed up right on time. After looking at the kitchen and looking at the old fence in back he gave me a quote lower then the phone one. first in installed the dishwasher, he was great taking off his shoes when entering my home. he cleaned up well after him self he did a great job in the kitchen, he had to tear out a cupboard and it was an odd size one but he basically made a new cabinet it looked like it had always been that way. Next i had a old fence that was here when i moved in but had never been put up. it showed a lot of wear and was that ugly color that unfinished privacy fence turns, rather then just put it up he said he could make it look new again. he brought out his tools and after a few days of work... i am not sure what he did but the fence looked brand new he then installed it and i am sure if a tornado came by that fence wouldn't move. over all he was very polite and seemed to have a large amount of pride in his work even in just the little things. i will definitely be recommending him to my friends and family and calling him this spring to do some more things for me."

FAQs for concrete driveways & floors installation projects in Sioux Falls, SD

Polished concrete floors offer many benefits with very few drawbacks. While issues like discoloration, stains, or imprints may occur during pouring, these are rare when working with a skilled flooring contractor. Once polished, concrete floors are easy to maintain, long-lasting, and eco-friendly. They also resist mold and moisture, making them ideal for allergy-prone households, and offer versatile design options for both indoor and outdoor use.

Polished concrete flooring is often more affordable than tile. It involves lower material costs and less labor-intensive installation. Tile installations require additional leveling and preparation, which increases labor costs. Opting for concrete flooring helps reduce upfront expenses and provides a durable, stylish finish that saves money over time with minimal maintenance.

While epoxy flooring offers enhanced durability and toughness compared to polished concrete, it comes with higher material and labor costs. If budget is a top priority, polished concrete floors provide a resilient and attractive finish without the premium price tag, making them an ideal choice for value and long-term performance.

Polished concrete floors last 20 years or more when installed by licensed professionals and maintained with proper care. Their enduring finish withstands heavy use and remains visually impressive for decades. Regular deep cleaning and maintenance help safeguard the floor’s integrity, providing homeowners with a long-lasting, cost‐effective solution that endures daily wear without compromising style.

Polished concrete floors increase home value by offering a modern, sleek appearance and exceptional durability. A professionally installed floor not only enhances visual appeal but also minimizes maintenance expenses, making the property more attractive to prospective buyers. This flooring upgrade delivers a refined look while boosting overall market competitiveness and long-term property value.
