"Bruce and his team did an excellent job with replacing my old 90 year old slate roof and installed all new asphalt shingles on my main roof, small side roof, front and rear porch roofs. All work was performed in one day and clean up was amazing considering the mess a slate roof being dismantled creates. The workmanship on all my roofs were outstanding. Dealing with Bruce was always easy throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend McKeown's Roofing and Siding for your roofing needs. "Fantastic response time - I had an emergency and they were able to accommodate me on a Saturday. Felt cost of visit to come out and just use caulk to seal around things was high. Problem turned out to not be roof, but was due to air conditioner condenser backing up. Also, had H Parker Contracting and another company provided estimates to replace roof, and it was pointed out by the 2nd company that if I were to sell the home, I would now have a problem with the inspection, because the caulk was applied to seams, and that would give the appearance of a larger issue and that the roof would not pass an inspection. Not happy about that, but too late to do anything about it."

The price was considerably less than the other bid I had received plus it was a removal of old shingles where the other contractor wanted to apply new shingles over the old. They removed old shingles and found some rot so had to replace some of the plywood which added to the bid but was very reasonable. A very favorable experience and now I don't dread the rain.....porch doesn't leak at all! Will use the contractor again if I ever need it."
