"After calling a number of contractors for quotes on this project, we decided to go with KFG, as the pictures of Kevin's work looked really good, and he was extremely responsive and professional when I reached out to him to come take a look at the job ad provide a estimate. He came out very quickly and followed up with a quote. He was very helpful in discussing options and providing his input to help decide on some details of the project. It did take a little longer than expected to get started, but the weather is an uncontrollable factor and he was very good about answering questions and providing updates. Once work began, Kevin kept us informed, was very efficient and did a BEAUTIFUL job on the stamped patio and pre-cast concrete stairs that he installed. "We asked John of Greenskeepers if he could build the retaining wall and walkway in a week because we had a wedding at our house which coming up the following weekend. He said it would be tight but if we chose materials that he could get quickly he said he could do it.
It could not have gone better. The wall and path look great. John could not get the cement stairs in time so he substituted granite steps, which are more money, but he didn't charge any more than the original estimate. In the back where the wall was built he put bushes, again at no extra charge, just to block off the area and keep it safe. His crew was prompt and courteous. They took all the dirt they excavated and used it on the side of my two story shed because they noticed it needed it there. They asked if that was alright and I said it certainly was.
Not only did he and his crew do an incredible job but at less cost than some other quotes we received.
I definitely recommend them and would hire them again.
