"We were very happy with the work completed by Leon Home Repairs. They were efficient and thorough. The work included installing a new countertop, sink, faucet,, and light fixture in one bathroom and painting the bathroom; removing painted wallpaper from one large wall and smoothing and painting the wall; replacing one set of bifold closet doors and trimming off and adjusting multiple other sets so they would operate smoothly; and replacing large window panels and the door in our front entryway. Dimas, who served as the foreman for the work on our house, also smelled gas in our utility closet and on his own initiative, figured out where the gas leak was and showed us, so we could call someone to come repair that. The team had an excellent range of skills and knowledge to tackle the variety of work we needed them to do. We will definitely call Leon Home Repairs again if we need more work done in the future."

"Did not clean windows or inside of oven. 3100 square foot house apparently cleaned in 3 hours. Very disappointed. They said they would clean all agreed areas but they pretty much did a normal clean but charged me three times. They didn?t even clean upper closest shelf or any areas that were inconvenient to reach. Will never hire again. Dust was everywhere and overall not worth the money. Barely spoke English. Names are Anna and Gerta or Berta. Van number is VHA-1383. I recommend going with a better cleaning service. "

I bring years of hands-on experience managing trades and remodeling homes, with a focus on\nreliability, clear communication, and quality results. I’ve overseen projects ranging from small\nrepairs to full renovations, coordinating electricians, plumbers, carpenters, painters, and other\nskilled trades to keep projects on schedule and done right the first time. My strength is organization\nand follow-through. I show up when I say I will, communicate clearly, and treat every home with\nrespect. Remodeling can be stressful, especially when surprises come up, but I approach each\nproject with transparency and problem-solving in mind. When challenges arise, I explain options\nclearly and help homeowners make informed decisions. I understand how disruptive construction\ncan be, so I work cleanly, stay involved from start to finish, and make sure expectations are aligned.\nMy goal is simple: deliver professional results while making the process as smooth and stress-free\nas possible. FAQs for remodel to accommodate a disability projects in Smithfield, NC

Standard Medicare coverage often doesn't extend to home modifications, such as roll-in showers. In specific circumstances where medical necessity is clearly established, limited coverage might be available through certain Medicare programs. Many homeowners explore alternative funding sources such as home modification grants, veterans' benefits, or specialized financing programs designed for accessibility improvements. Consulting with a Medicare representative about your specific situation provides the most accurate guidance.

Roll-in showers deliver significant benefits beyond their monetary return, particularly in terms of safety, independence, and long-term accessibility. By eliminating barriers to bathing, these installations help prevent falls while accommodating mobility devices, such as wheelchairs or walkers. Their open design creates a contemporary appearance that appeals to many homebuyers. For households planning to age in place or accommodate family members with mobility challenges, the functional advantages often outweigh pure financial considerations.

A standard roll-in shower installation takes two to four days. Projects requiring extensive renovation or plumbing changes may take longer, potentially extending to several weeks or months. Factors affecting the timeline include existing bathroom configuration, permit processing times, contractor availability, and material delivery schedules. Creating proper drainage slopes often requires additional preparation time compared to traditional shower installations, particularly when modifying existing floor structures.
