I heavily researched this project and received about 8 estimates from big box stores, widely advertised private companies, smaller independent companies and Armor offered the best pricing and workmanship. No other company was willing to rake the area around the fence, or work around roots and bushes. Confronted with the same challenges as the other companies, Billy and his team rolled up their sleeves and did the work at no extra cost. Billy hand picked the wood himself from the store. I paid the charge and his team brought the materials to my house. Billy speaks fast and I sometimes had a hard time understanding him, but he is old school in his work ethic. Mr. Hartman stopped by my property quickly to make an assessment, he determined the window was fine and did not need to be replaced. When I spoke with him on the phone he was was quick to let me know that it would be an easy repair and told me I could take the bottom sash to a local business to have it repaired and provided me with the contact information. I needed some additional repairs to the frame components and he gave me the easy instructions to perform the repair and pointed me in the right direction to to get the needed parts. While I did not end up hiring Mr. Hartman because he was able to guide me to an easy and more cost effective solution I would not hesitate to contact him in the future.
