"Coty was very professional and very thorough! He answered all the questions I had and his work was impeccable! I will be hiring him for other projects like painting shutters, front door and a room in my home. I highly recommend that anyone with any sort of project contact Coty…he is your go to guy! "

"These men grasped the concept of what I had in mind immediately, and set out to exceed my expectations.  They were on time and budget, and seemed to really care that the remodel was done exactly right.  They could not have done a better job if they had been working on their own home. <br />"

"We have an old 1930's house that needed a large chimney repointed and cap replaced. Rod at Layman Masonry and his team were referred to us by our roofer, Kelvin Howard, for doing good work. We contacted Rod for a quote, and he came out the very next day to quote a price that was good considering the amount of work to be done. Rob and his team are insured and were courteous and friendly throughout the project. They showed up on time and maintained a clean job site. The project consisted of grinding out and replacing the old mortar, a new chimney cap and to put two coats of paint back on the chimney. The project was completed in 4 days despite rain every other day. We were very happy with the work done and will use Rod again in the future."

"Replaced an exterior door that we had to replace due to break in. After calling and getting estimates from a couple of places his quote much more reasonable than most. And the work that was done was great. Nothing to complain about on this exchange. His price could be better... but for the quality its more than reasonable. Responsiveness is somewhat slow but I'd imagine it directly correlates to the price and quality of his work."

"The consultant Explained everything in full to me about the whole process and what to expect. They cleaned my Roof, Siding, Gutters, Patio, Deck, Driveway and wood Fencing for only $1250.00! They were amazing every step of the way! <br /> We had several other quotes from various other companies and these guys were not the cheapest (right in the middle on price) but were absolutely professional. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO ALL MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY! <br />"

FAQs for handyman service projects in Smiths-Creek, KY

Winterizing shields your home’s structure and key systems from snow, ice, and freezing temperatures. By sealing drafts and tuning up heaters, you cut energy waste, extend the life of appliances and windows, and avoid surprise repair bills. A small up-front investment keeps rooms cozy and protects the value of your biggest asset all winter long.

Yes, it’s important to prepare your sprinkler system for the winter. Blowing out the lines and insulating above-ground parts keeps valves and pipes from splitting when temperatures drop. A quick winterization visit costs far less than repairing burst components in spring, and it ensures your lawn--and your wallet--stay in good shape once the thaw hits.

A full home winterization plan goes beyond sealing windows and pipes. You might schedule a home energy audit, cover outdoor furniture, service the snowblower, swap smoke-detector batteries, add outlet gaskets, and hang storm doors. Each step beefs up your home’s protection, cuts drafts, and lowers the chance of costly cold-weather damage.
