"thanks to this site, I called Greater Wilm. Structure about a brick house I was buying that had cracked brick and unlevel floors. I assumed I would only (!) need to have that section of the home jacked up and the foundation repaired. Brian returned my call quickly, and met me and my realtor at the house (was a 45 min. drive for him) to give me his opinion and verbal price quote. Many contractors/carpenters would have just focused on the project and the money involved, but Brian wanted to see WHY the house had sunk. He pointed out the major structure issues with the tresses in the attic, joists, as well as other red flags, that would cause problems later. He's a master carpenter and his knowledge, experience (and sense of humor!) was refreshing and valuable. After meeting with him I decided to pull my accepted offer on the home and feel I have saved myself untold amounts of money, stress and frustration. I will definately be hiring this company in the future."

"Patriot installed a new metal roof in March '23 with extra screws at an additional cost so that we could qualify for hurricane roof certification from NC, ultimately lowering our homeowner's insurance premiums. Unfortunately, Patriot did not take the necessary pictures of the finished work showing the extra screws needed to get the state certification which disqualified me from receiving the discount for the hurricane proof roof and thus higher insurance premiums. The additional cost amounted to more than $4000 over 4 years in higher premiums . They had agreed in writing that they were wrong and were willing to credit me back by check the difference in premium costs but to date and after several promises from their sales mgr, I have received <$1000 with numerous unfulfilled promises from the mgr that they would send the balance. Very disappointed with their mgmt and their commitment to do what they promise and to make right on their mistake."

"Don't hesitate to use their services! We vetted four companies to paint the exterior of our home. At the time, our home was under repairs from an electrical fire last year. I met with Daniel, the owner and we walked the entire exterior of my property which included our 2400 sqft home and a detached two-car garage. Daniel's 40+ years of experience in the Painting business was very apparent as we discussed multiple issues of concern and how to appropriately resolve them without inflating the final bill. I went home that night bragging to my husband about how comfortable I was with Daniel's expertise, attention to detail, approach to educating the homeowner on how to address problems themselves, and his quiet, calming demeanor when describing the scope of work. After all bids were received, we chose Daniel and his team and I'm writing to tell everyone that my home has never looked better. This man hadn't even painted my house yet, but we were so comfortable with his knowledge and expertise, we asked him to help us fix our home. We were on a strict timeline, so Daniel put other projects on hold and agreed to make things right. His crew completed the interior prep-work and repairs, all while painting the exterior of the home. With weather permitting, his crew completed the entire project in the cold and sunny days of Mid-December and January. Robby was phenomenal! He had an uphill battle to fix someone else's mistakes, but he accepted the challenge, and superceded our expectations. We can't thank him enough for caring about his chosen craft. My home looks absolutely beautiful, inside and out! My neighbors continue to call and comment on the color and paint job. I would hire AB&C Painting again for any painting project. In a world where people think of themselves, this is one Painting Company that cares whether you're fully satisfied in the end, and also warranty their work. I will praise the awesome work Daniel, Robbie, and crew accomplished to anyone who will listen and made our home whole again. I Highly recommend their services!"
