He added new wood floors to existing wood floors and changed the stairs from carpet to wood. We are very happy with the end result. The floors actually came out better than we anticipated. His pricing is fair and his skill is advanced. Ours was a very large job and he never got stressed out or appeared to be rushing. We would hire him again and we do recommend him to others looking to have their wood floors added to and refinished."

"NW Premium Hardwood Floors refinished over 1,000 sq. ft. of red oak flooring and a full set of stairs in my home. They also replaced the carpet in my family room with red oak, weaving it in to the existing flooring in the connecting room. All this was completed in 4 days and they did an excellent job. Vasiliy and his crew are efficient and hard working. My husband, a fine woodworker himself, is very happy with the end result (he is very picky about wood finishing). Vasiliy's crew worked long hours sanding and preparing the floor prior to applying the 3 coats of finish. I was impressed by how hard they worked. We had 3 coats of finish applied, with a semi-satin finish which provides a little shine, but will wear better in that it tends to hide scratches and normal wear better than higher gloss finishes. We have a small dog so this was an important consideration for us. The finish is very consistent throughout, with no brush marks showing across the wide expanses. The floor looks perfectly level and smooth. Vasiliy and his crew did high quality work for us. My husband and I both love our wood floors!"

"I had a great experience with Cristian and Travis from Five Star Hardwoods. They were the first to respond when I reached out to several companies for a bid. They made it out to my house in a timely manor and I received a reasonable quote shortly thereafter. They were accomodating and flexible when scheduling the timing of the refinishing. Travis was in charge of sanding and fixing the damaged areas. He was on time and had a great disposition. These guys are doing very hard work... particularly in our case they had to move some very large furniture... and they do it with a great attitude. Cristian is a really nice to work with and he understood exactly what I was looking for as far as the finish and sheen of the wood floors. He clearly takes pride in doing beautiful work. Everything they did exceeded my expectations. We have beautiful wood vent covers in each room now that are flush with the floors and perfectly matching quarter round. The house was cleaned nicely, and Cristian checked in with me after the work was completed to see if we needed some help reassembling a tricky bunk bed that my kids sleep in. Seriously, so impressed and I would highly recommend them!"

My floors were in pretty rough shape and my tile flooring installer said it was a little beyond his capabilities. He referred me to Sterling and said they were the best around the Kitsap Washington area. I called them and received a quote which I thought was very reasonable for the work that needed to be done. Rick performed wood patching and matching to my existing floors. He then took everything down to bare wood, refinished and varnished the entire floor. The end result was amazing and I was very happy. "Very pleased with the professional and friendly service received. Eric, the owner, was professional and easy to work with. I appreciated his help with narrowing the flooring choices to what product would be best for what I needed, ie, stand up to heavy traffic in the entryway as well as being waterproof for the baths and kitchen. He also promptly provided all the documentation required by my HOA for approval of what I wanted done. I kept changing my mind about which direction to lay the flooring, so when it was delivered, Eric helped lay out a box of the flooring so I could get a better idea of how it would look overall, very nice. Dan, the installer was also professional and did a great job. I particularly liked the job done cutting the bottom of the door frames to slip the flooring underneath. Looks like it was just meant to be that way. Since the name of his showroom is Floors and More, I asked if he did counter tops too. He worked with Andrew Shubin at Pro Granite to order the quartz for the kitchen and find remnants for the baths which helped keep the cost down. Very pleased all the way around. I plan to have him install carpet in the near future and possibly replace the tile around the fireplace."
