"I hired Richard for the design and specification work. Richard is an open, honest, conscientious and reliable person. His knowledge of the building industry and general contracting is amazing. He has a lot of experience to build upon. Highly recommended!!"

"As a testament to how happy we were with our first renovation provided by the Curtice Group in 2021, which provided completely new kitchen/dining/mudroom/bath, we hired Scott and his team again in 2024-25 for another major renovation. This job was composed of 3 main parts: a gut remodel of our main bathroom, renovation of a large attic space (about 700 sq ft), and whole-home conversion from steam radiators (gas) to heat pumps including removal of all radiators and a chimney. The bathroom now is attractive and more functional, the attic adds a large amount of useful space as an office/kid room/guest area, and central air makes a more comfortable climate. I’m a big fan of the design/build concept, because you really don’t want to separate those two elements into different contractors, and if you find a talented company, they can handle all aspects of the job fluidly. Scott Curtice has a real knack for design, he is attentive and cares about details, and he will perform carpentry and touch-up work as needed. Moreover, he handled all the project coordination so that we could do the jobs that we do well, which do not include home renovation."

"We have just started working with Steve, but so far he is very professional and pleasant. Update: Steve was great and completed the plans we needed in the expected timeframe. He is very personable and gave us different ideas to think about."

"We are very happy with Guzman Architects. When we thought about building our new home we weren’t sure what avenues to follow. They put us on a perfect path. They handled all aspects of design, which we were completely satisfied with, and also oversaw the entire building process. Also we felt the price we paid was more than fair for the work they completed. Highly recommended."

"Exceeded what I was looking for and more!"

"Does a great job, is working hard to grow his business and do the best he can for his clients."

"Very helpful. Offered many ideas"

"Gave advise on repair of kitchen ceiling."

"Jessa was wonderful to work with! She explained the process in a way I could understand, was prompt with communications and I actually enjoyed it. She told me building a house might lead to building more and I can see why. It's immensely satisfying to design something and then see it come to life! We were told the drafting would be 3-5 weeks and we took every bit of 5 weeks because we really wanted to take our time in between each revision. I'm glad they didn't hurry us because as a family we did not agree on certain details quickly. Love our forever home and so glad we chose the right place for the design and drafting."

"Helped me doing existing conditions of my place showing an excellent profission and dedication."
