"I hired Yari based on positive Angie's List reviews.  Overall, I'd give him a luke warm rating, and MIGHT use him again, though would probably investigate some other options first.  The work done overall was good, however...

The clean-up was poor.  There was a LOT of small broken tile bits and dust left over after they replaced the kitchen tiles.  I have cats (as they saw), and they could have very easily tracked sharp small bits of broken tile on their paws from the loads of it left on the kitchen floor and in the grooves where the grout is.  When they repaired the broken stucco outside, they left dust and debris at the site and obviously threw the remaining water/plaster/mortar/whatever mix through a fence and into my neighbor's yard (am going to try and attach pix - I think I can do that here).  The price he quoted me was for parts and labor ASSUMING I had all those parts already.  I had to go myself with one of his workers to a nearby plumbing supply store to pick up needed items.

He was very responsive in person and by phone, and very cordial and prompt.  The work was decent enough.  I don't know enough about home repairs and contracting to know how fair the price was, but it seemed to be in the ballpark. 

Overall recommendation : Proceed, but with caution, and make sure you're clear from the outset what exactly your needs are and what exactly he's promising to provide.  And make sure they clean up properly before leaving."

"Vince, the handyman did a fantastic and professional job. Vince showed up on time and was well prepared. He gave me advice and suggestions installed my new gas grill perfectly. He didn’t check to make sure everything worked properly and also checked to make sure there was no gas leaks. Then Vince cleaned up his area and kept everything very tidy is very clean, honest, professional, and I would hire him again."

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."

"I originally requested a service visit when I realized that my A/C unit did not seem to be operating. I figured it was a small repair as the unit was supposed to be "new" when I purchased the home a few years ago. Art was right on time and quickly explained his preliminary findings to me. He also showed me proof that the existing condensor was not only old, but heavily corroded and had been on it's last legs for some time. Also much of the ductwork was 4" in diameter constricting MUCH of the airflow! It was dismaying, but I had prepared for this possibility. He quoted me $5200 for a 3-ton split system air conditioner . He said there was an option to repair the current one, but that since the unit was clearly older than I had thought and vastly damaged, I opted to purchase a new unit as I prefer the peace of mind a new unit will offer. They offered a few brands of air conditioning units and I went with a Goodman. Luckily I did not have to deal with asbestos abatement and they were able to install the new ductwork amazingly quickly! Art was very professional and dealing with Jeny, their office manager, was a pleasure. The company is focused clearly on the customer and provide quality work. Also the work was completed and the unit installed under the estimate (I guess the costs for materials fluctuate some). I did not compare with other vendors, nor did I ask for 3 bids (as I usually would do) because I felt very comfortable with this company and its employees. I was not pressured nor rushed into a decision. Since the completion of the job, I am very satisfied and happy in my (now) cool home environment. It was money well spent. I can easily recommend this company to anyone needing HVAC services."
