"I have a slate roof and a rubber roof and had difficulty finding someone who could do a proper inspection with repairs. I stumbled upon Doherty Slate Roofing in Swampscott, MA. Several houses have slate roofs in our town. I have to say, he did an excellent job in repairing my rubber roof as well as the slate roof, which had missing slates and broken slates. Jason was spectacular. He also repaired the Boston Saddle hips and the flat copper roof. The work was done promptly, and the cleanup was very, very good. I am excited to write this review as we need people like Doherty to give us honest advice and understand this unique roof for repairs. Doherty took extreme care not to drop anything in the garden. The clean-up was excellent. I am ready for the winter and do not worry about leaks and ice damage from the missing slates."

"The Project was a complete success from start to finish! Elias, the Project Manager was excellent. We had a major problem with a roof that was leaking . We had several contractors come to look at the roof for estimates. Elias spent the most time of any of the contractors viewing and evaluating the roof and siding as well as the inside of the house where the water was leaking into and discussed the project with the President of Beantown. He was excellent at explaining what needed to be done. It was not your average "roof job" as the roof abutted a large chimney and the room under the roof was cold and drafty. He was very patient with me as I had many questions about the project. Janice, the Office Manager, was courteous and always available from start to finish. The roofing team was very professional and did an excellent job. They also added the appropriate insulation, new siding to the house by the roof, gutters and appropriate flashing. The roof not only looks great, but the room beneath the roof is no longer drafty and there are no leaks. His team cleaned up after the project was completed such that you wouldn't even know they were there. Elias was so professional and he even contacted us after the first rainstorm to make sure that everything was fine. The Office Manager, Janice sent the Roof Warranty to me right away. Company was hired to correct the issues caused by a prior roofer whose incompetence has cost me additional thousands in repair.
