"Chris came with two additional people. They sawed apart the steel bed-frame and couch frame and removed in pieces. This took time but resulted in absolutely no damage to stairway or walls. (This had been concern for us with such a heavy awkward item.) They vacuumed the carpet and moved other furniture into place and additionally removed some other junk. It was a great team that you can feel comfortable with in your home."

"I have nothing but good things to say about Foxwood masonry .Josh and his team are great at what they do. I hired them to repair a retaining wall behind my house in 2021. It was a time sensitive project and Josh was able to schedule the work quickly and charged us a reasonable price for the work. They also have amazing attention to detail and the retaining wall has remained in great condition over the last 3 years. "I contacted J Perry in November 2014 to get an estimate.  Marshall, a very nice older man, came out and measured and gave got the estimate for the job which was $3852.  We decided to do the job in the spring.  I called in April, signed a contract with Joe Perry on April 20, and gave a 50 % deposit on the job, which is what they require.  I was surprised that they would not be available until early June, but because they had good ratings on Angie's List, I was willing to wait.  
They were right on schedule when they estimated they would be able to do the job, and came on June 12.  Though I was not home, when they arrived, my adult son told me they showed up around 10:30 with a crew of 4-5 men.  It was a hot, sunny day, but they worked very hard with a variety of trucks and heavy machinery to dig out the old driveway and concrete apron, and put down the new layers of asphalt.   The work crew was very diligent and hard working and they were at my house until about 7:30 pm.  The driveway turned out great and I was very pleased with the work.  I was also very impressed with the finishing touches they did, grading the soil bordering the edge of the driveway by hand with a rake, and cleaning up thoroughly on the street, sweeping up dirt and asphalt debris and using blowers to blow the dust away.  
When the job was all done, Joe Perry explained a few things about future seal coating, and took the final payment for the job, which I paid by personal check.  
If I had to give a grade to the total job, it would be an A-.  There are only two minor things that in hindsight would have moved their grade to a solid A or A+.  One of the sprinkler heads in the grass right next to the driveway they installed was left a bit high, and had I not intervened would have probably been damaged or sheared off by a lawnmower.  I was able to lower the sprinkler head afterwards when I put some sod in next to the driveway, so that was not a big deal.  The other minor concern was that they had to take apart part of a low retaining wall next to the driveway to remove a section of the concrete apron with their machines.  When they put the wall back, it was a little crooked, and they left a scrape on the edge of the top finished stone.  They also did not re-glue the top stones with adhesive  to the cinder blocks.  I was able to adjust the stones so it looks better, but the top stones are still not glued down.  This is a minor issue, but I thought it worth mentioning to be thorough.   
Overall, however, I was very happy with the quality of the job, and I would enthusiastically recommend J Perry to anyone who needs a new driveway or other similar paving jobs.

"They were friendly and respectful. However, they did indicate that they would remove the extra branches , due to the truck being full they were unable to. They did not state that they would come back for the other branches. Overall the quality of work was acceptable."

"We hired the group to dig up a large area of bamboo and take a tree down. They were the only group I could find that would take on the bamboo removal. A back hoe was used to dig up the bamboo and I think the job was done fairly well. However, The roots were largely not removed so the bamboo came back up in full force after a month. Bamboo is difficult to eradicate, so we expected this. My main complaint is regarding the payment. They did not accept credit cards and although they accepted checks, they would not accept my out of state check. They did not want to wait 2 days for my check to clear. It was suggested that I could pay at Walmart, which I was not willing to do. The final solution, after much discussion was a Venmo payment, not to the company but to a specific person who I never met. I requested a receipt with the company name on it and never received it. I have hired numerous contractors for various reasons over the past 30 years and have never experienced such a problem over payment. This experience was bizarre. I would not hire them again."

Exceptional : is defined as: unusually good; outstanding Still does not explain the quality of work, customer service, professionalism. Phenomenal : very remarkable; extraordinary. This another piece but not a stand alone word. Paul is all of the above and more. I was in a bind this Memorial Day weekend with a party. Paul a ( Veteran THANK YOU) took time away from his own sons birthday party to complete my project for my family. Even though Paul does not serve is a Military Uniform he continues to serves America. I am honored to have met him and honored to have him worked with me. He is patient, smart and a true master at his craft. We build an out door Bar that Paul completed the veneer. On a scale of 1-10- 11+. Looks beautiful. There is no higher recommendation I can provide for another person. If you want the best quality for you home. Paul is worth the wait! Again thank you for a awesome job look forward to having him complete other projects we have pending. Thank you for your service and dedication on this Memorial Day, you made it one to remember.
