"I loved the work and I loved the price. The guy was terrific. Then I called him back after I had a horrible windstorm here in Pasadena, California and I wanted him to rebuild my gate which got broken in the windstorm. So I called him and he said that he was coming over, and then he didn't show up. Then I called again and he didn't return my calls. It was like two different companies. The first time around he was fabulous and the second time around, I'm getting no consideration from this company. I'm kind of torn about whether to give him a good or a bad recommendation. It's now past six months and I still haven't heard from him. He must be too embarrassed to call me. In general I would give him a good report but I'm a little skeptical because of the second time. For doing the fence I shared the cost with my neighbor and my portion was a little over $600. I tried to use him again but he didn't respond. When I'm ready to get more fencing, I will at least give him another try."

The actual appoitment for the ork to be prformed was scheduled by the salesperson the same day. 2 people came in the date of the installation. Six days later the gate had been created and it was installed a day or two thereafter. In fact, it took much longer to receive the new locking handle and dead bolt which I ordered from an online supplier than it took Method to fabricate and install the gate. About 10 days after the installation I phoned the office to say that I had received the door knob & deadbolt, and the company owner arrived about half an hour later to install them. Bottom line: negotiated price was fair relative to the market, quality of fabrication, installation & overall service was excellent."

"I called another company that was highly rated on Angie's List, and Alfonso called me back saying that the company used him when they were too busy. We needed to add some height to our backyard fence to keep our pets in, but didn't want to spend a lot of money. I explained this to Alfsonso over the phone and asked if he could come out to do an estimate. He told me that he normally does not do estimates (he is a one-man operation and charges by the hour), but he agreed to come out and give me a rough estimate. He got stuck in traffic on the way to the house, but called to let me know. When he arrived, he looked at our yard, and spoke with us about what he were looking to do. We told him our thoughts, and he gave us his suggestions. When we agreed on the plan, he said he could go to the hardware store right then and price the materials and give me an estimate. He did just that. He came back and showed us photos of the options available and the price of each one. He gave us an estimate for the materials and labor, and he went to work right away. We had a couple of things change along the way, and he kept us informed and stuck to within $10 of his estimate. The work was done well and on time. We will defintely use him again!"
