After we agreed on what work was included and settled on the price, he offered a number of extra items at no charge (I only covered the cost of materials), minor repairs, cleaning the roof and the gutters, painting the drain pipes, the gutters, the shutters, lighting fixtures and the foundation, getting a pair of replacement shutters. He closely supervised the work of his crew and at the end of each day left the site in a neat condition. Very good job.

"I hired ProTEK 10 years ago and was very happy with the job. When it was time to paint again I got a bid and based on price and past performance I chose ProTEK again. Response was quick and I got a bid right away. A team showed up a week prior and did a good job powerwashing the house. This Monday a larger team showed up and scraped (a lot of scraping on a shingle sided house), primed and painted the entire house in two days. Overall I am very happy with the job. High quality Benjamin Moore Paint was speced and used. Careful attention was paid to overhangs, window sashes, doors, railings and sills. Badly deteriorated glazing was repaired and both steel casement as well as wood double hung windows were painted cleanly. Clean up (and there were a lot of scrapings) was outstanding. I would highly recommend. BTW I am a licensed architect."

"Chimney Chap did an excellent job replacing the termination cap on my Vermont Castings gas stove at a reasonable cost. The two technicians who performed the work were very professional and worked hard to overcome some unforeseen installation difficulties. From my initial e-mail to the installation of the cap, Chimney Chap was very responsive. Meanwhile, some other companies I contacted were unresponsive and less interested in performing a small installation project. His quote was straightforward and accurate. His work speaks for itself as we are thrilled with the final product. I felt like Carlos respected my house, I think he was the neatest contractor I have ever used. He took out existing stone work and I was really happy about the minimal mess.
