"We're thrilled with the results. I also had an estimate from Durham fence that was nearly identical, but just had a better feeling about Barry. He was very patient in listening to our needs and concerns (fence-jumping dog, keeping costs low) and offered a lot of good suggestions on how to get the most bang for our buck. I noticed a big difference in how he walked out the fence lines in the yard versus how the other company did it. Barry was very thorough, walked out exactly where we wanted to fence to go (and helped us decide on that part). The other guy didn't even set foot into the woods they'd have to cut through a bit. I just felt like we were more likely to get what we were expecting with Barry's Fence. <br /> The estimate was done in early February, and the original plan was to start work by mid-Feb (something like 2/20). Well, a huge snowstorm came, and then the snow just never left. Our contact with him dropped off a bit during that time, and he had mentioned that the ground should be a certain temp for the concrete to set well. We waited out the weather, touching base now and then. A few times it took a couple of days to get back to us through email, but I wouldn't call that "unresponsive" at all. I think every call and email was returned. When the snow was nearly gone and we had company coming into town and wanted to see if he could start and finish within a certain week, Barry made it happen. They didn't quite have the last gate up before our guests came with their dog, but Barry and his worker made sure to secure any openings over the weekend. They cleaned up really well, leveled out dirt, closed any small gaps in the link near the ground. <br /> Overall, I'd highly recommend Barry's Fence. They did a great job, and seem like they do care about the quality of their work and whether we were happy with the result. We've had fences built in other houses, and this was a better experience than those. <br />"

"<p>Overall a good experience and we get compliments on our new fence. The salesman did a good job showing us the various choices of vinyl fence and measuring and writing up a contract. Communication was the only stumbling block we encountered. My e-mails were never returned and calls to the office weren't effective. We had the best experience when we went to the showroom in person to handle business. Jon Luther is very personable and we felt confident in his ability. We were out of town when the crew showed up to start work on the fence and a neighbor called to let us know. My husband called Jon and they just removed the old wooden fence that day and waited until we were back before starting the new installation. There were several decisions that had to be made on the day of the install regarding did we want the fence to follow the slope of the yard or to be horizontal which would cause an increasing size gap between the lawn and bottom of the fence. I found it a little difficult to make the decision the day of the install and wish we had thought it over before the installation. We are happy with end result, though and would recommend them.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>9/22/2014 Update: We had some shifting of a fence post over the first winter which caused our double gate to be very difficult to open and close. We contacted Luther fence and they fixed the problem for us. It's good to know that they stand by their work!<br /> <br /> </p>"

"All time was a little back logged when i purchased the windows so it took a month longer to wait to have them installed.........thatrs a good sign a local company backed up with business.  The work performed went  well no damage to surrounding vinyl ect  and the "style" they replaced from the original looked good......................... i would recommend this company <br />"

"They kept coming to fix the lock, so they finally gave me a new door. I liked the product, the door and window that they did. I didn’t dislike anything, except for the window wasn’t exactly what I had expected in the basement. I had them do 3 windows. It was a nice window. So, I can’t say that I disliked anything. Interactions with them was okay, an “A”. The work turned out to be an “A” in the end. I think of anything they can do to get a higher grade. They’re expensive."
