"The screened-in covered porch attached to the back of my house had shown signs of leaking for awhile. This February, however, there were several storms that brought with them high winds and heavy rain. My porch?s small leaks became greater in number and magnitude.    Jim, from W.J.C. Construction Services, came over that same day and assessed the damage to the porch roof. He gave me quotes to either  1. just repair and replace the leaking  shingles, or 2. replace the entire porch roof. He explained the first choice would stop the leaks where they were visible, but that it might not correct the cause of the leaking. Choice #2 was to replace the entire roof.     I considered both options and chose to have him replace the entire roof. I am very glad I did. As he worked taking the old shingles off, he saw that the original roofing on the porch was not up to code. Had I chosen to have him just reshingle the original leaking ares, I would still be left with a roof that would leak again.    "

"Ed Marino of Emerald Concrete Llc, came out for free estimate in 2 days after first contact, measured, discussed the sizing, number of steps, and type of finish for the deteriorating existing porch and steps to the front door that had a wooden ramp installed over it by previous owner that also needed to be removed. He gave me a detailed estimate outlining the project, that fit my budget and time frame for completion. It was completed in 2 days, tear out, leveling and framing, with porch roof braces removed and walkable on 3rd day. He and his crew were professional, friendly diligent workers that kept the area tidy while working and immaculatly cleaned up when finished. The finished result is perfect!
