"This is the third project that EA Masonry has completed for us and as the other two projects went, this was top notch as expected. Dan and his guys demo’d a huge, old concrete patio and stairs along with clearing out numerous overgrown bushes. They installed a new patio and walkway along with two sets of entry stairs. "We hired Driveway Specialists to do repairs to our driveway and to do a seal coat. I struggled with the rating here. If I were just evaluating them based on the quality of the work, I'd give an A. And the people I dealt with were polite and friendly. But my customer service experience with them was frustrating. I won't go into all the details here, but it boils down to this. They were at times difficult to get a hold of. Also, on ore than one occasion, I was told by them that a job would be done on a particular day or week, only to have them not show up when they said they would and not call or email to let me know or to offer an alternative. It should be a basic expectation that when someone says they're going to do work on Day X, they show up on Day X to work. And if they are unable to fulfill that commitment, they should contact the customer to let them know. On too many occasions, Driveway Specialists failed to meet that basic expectation of customer service. Reading the reviews on Angieslist, it is clear that others have had my experience, but that we are a minority. Most people seemed to have had great experiences with Driveway Specialists. I can confirm the high quality of their finished work . But my customer service experience with them was bad."

"We worked with them on a much larger scoped project, and got 3-4 quotes. All were over our budget, but we liked Bautista so much that we work with them to re-imagine the project on a smaller scale and got it into our budget. <br> <br>At first, we were thinking of just grading the lawn to the patio, but again, working together during the project, we decided to use landscape timbers. The upcharge to add them was very reasonable -- they did not overprice the add-on, which I appreciated. <br> <br>They brought in new bluestone and worked with some older materials on site and blended them nicely together. <br> <br>The only caution (and I see another reviewer had the same concern) -- they are masons. Not so much lanscapers. Our lawn took more of a beating than I expected, and the damage was more than I initially thought, BUT they loamed and seeded all the disturbed areas, and came back to clean up some stone dust that was missed in the first clean up. <br> <br>We found them very responsive, helpful, creative and easy to work with. Next time, I would better define where trucks could park, where to put materials, etc. but I would whole-heartedly recommend using them, and we are already considering 2 more projects with them (garage floor rework and resetting a front walkway). <br>"

"The owner Joe, seal coated our double driveway personally. Joe had completely excavated our previous driveway and replaced it with an expanded new one. He was on time for the date that we had scheduled. He used the highest quality sealer, known as Liquid Gold. Joe was meticulous in the application of the sealer and made sure the job was neat and clean upon completion. The end result was a professional driveway in both function and appearance. Primo Paving Inc. has our highest recommendation."

"We called Ranieri Construction because a combination of ground settling and a sloppy repair made our concrete pool deck not only cracked and uneven, but also unsightly. Lou Ranieri explained that they couldn’t fix the cracks as they were, but would have to remove the filler from the first repair, grind down the uneven surfaces and stain the whole surface to achieve an even color. Once the plan was in motion, Andrew Ranieri worked tirelessly to grind down and level all the surfaces – this man is a definite perfectionist and the even surface is better than we ever thought was possible. A skim coat was applied and, once hardened, the whole area was cleaned and stained. It’s beautiful! We can’t say enough about how diligent Lou and Andrew are in their, often backbreaking, work. Once completed, the work area was left spotlessly clean.
