"The window service was quite good. They were professional and were clean around the area they worked. The window was installed on time and still looks good one year later. <br />"

"I would say they were okay. I wouldn't give them a huge thumb up. The quality at first was not the best but when we asked them to come back and fix it, they did it. It was a little bit of a hassle coordinating it. We expected it to be all built where they could just bring it over and put it together but they ended up painting it and doing a bunch of work in our house which was kind of a pain. We were satisfied with the ultimate end product. I wouldn't say it was outstanding but I would say it was good quality. I possibly will use them in the future."

"We had a great experience with B& T Construction. Nikolai and Dave we're very helpful and patient in the planning and permitting process with both the City and our HOA. They communicated very well through the whole project and came in right on budget. Great to work with and would certainly use again."

"I actually had them come over to check on the job, but they are yet to get back to me even after a month, even though we have had correspondence. My first impression about Ron Cohen was that he was very well qualified, professional and everything. I felt very comfortable with him. They showed up on time and were professional in evaluating the job. I did not have a problem with them and would have gone with them. My first attempt after a month was to check if they were still interested. I called and talked to a woman in his office, and she told me that they were interested. We had a couple of emails back and forth. I wish they had got back to me with a definite answer than leading me on. I was not impressed. They had good reviews on Angie’s List. I don’t want to judge them too soon, but I was very disappointed. I don’t have really good things to say about them. I spent a fair amount of time with them, and they seemed capable of doing the job. I asked him if he could give me a kind of ballpark, and he said that he would get back to me; I have never heard from him. I met them on the 13th of May, and enough time has gone by. I kept waiting for them to revert to me. I had hoped to get a couple of bids on the project, and I ended up going with a company that actually gave me a bid. In all fairness, we are in Zephyr Cove, which is about 70 miles from Reno. They do market in our area, so I figured that should not have been a problem, but in retrospect, that may actually have been my problem. They probably felt that this place was farther than they wanted to go, but they could have told me that. I asked Ron whether they had done work here, and he said that he had worked on the hotels, which was probably a huge project. We had a pretty significant renovation going on. Our renovation was not one of those where there were a lot of problems to deal with. The unit was empty, and it is a 30-year-old standard construction, so it was basically an interior remodel of a well-built townhouse. I am amazed that they weren’t coming back. One of the possibilities was that they had a lot of work on their hands. I had checked with other contractors too, and they responded with a lot of calls. I would have been happy if they had just told me why they did not want to do the job. I probably would not seek a quote from them again because I felt like I got stood-up."

FAQs for concrete foundation repair projects in Reno, NV

Visible cracks, water leaks, uneven floors, or walls that won’t line up are classic red flags. You might also notice sticking windows, doors that no longer latch, or exterior cracks crawling up brick or siding. Even a damp, musty basement can hint at trouble. If you spot any of these, call a foundation pro right away. Early inspections cost far less than waiting until the damage threatens your home’s stability.

Yes, foundation problems impact your home’s value. Buyers want proof that the foundation is stable, and a recent, professional repair can actually boost confidence in your home. You’ll need to disclose the work, but documentation showing the structure was properly stabilized, especially with piers in regions known for shifting soil, often reads as a plus, not a problem. Skipping repairs, on the other hand, can cut your sale price and shrink the pool of interested buyers. Taking care of the issue protects both value and peace of mind.

Foundations are engineered for exceptional longevity when constructed correctly and maintained diligently. Concrete slab foundations remain structurally sound for 200 years, while other foundation types deliver integrity between 75 and 100 years. Regular professional inspections and timely maintenance further secure a foundation’s lifespan and ensure your home stays safe over the long term.
