"United Home Experts does not stand behind the quality of their work, which in the case of a 20K+ project that they did for us, involved a significant oversight that rendered that work pointless. I think -- and other contractors we have brought in to look at the problem think -- that the oversight was significant enough to demonstrate negligence on their part. We hired United Home Experts to replace the roofing and the section of our deck over one of our garage bays, where water leaks had caused damage to the ceiling and walls of the garage. The sole purpose of the 20K + project was to prevent further damage due to leaks. Because of their failure to properly flash one of the walls adjoining the deck (they flashed another, longer wall), within three years, water had leaked through the wall and caused more significant damage than what they had been brought in to fix. The 20K+ was wasted. United Home Experts has refused to take any responsibility for failing to deliver on what they had promised. I have attached photos of the ceiling of our garage and the wood rot behind it. In one of the photos, the rot is so severe that the wood is completely worn through. Again, this happened within three years of contracting United Home Experts to do the work. I also attached a photo of the poor workmanship of their deck re-installation -- splitting in the joists that they had just installed. I caught the problem and made them reinstall the joists but didn't catch their failure to flash one of the walls adjoining the deck. In general, I found the company to be extremely unresponsive throughout the installation process and uncooperative in attempting to resolve this issue. The representative handling the account has been ducking me, repeatedly failing to call back within reasonable time frames (or most recently, even within a time frame he had set). We hope that United Home Experts will change course and attempt to respond reasonably to the damage that their oversight caused. The President of the company claims to be a "faith-based entrepreneur." Whichever faith that happens to be, his company reflects poorly on it, at least in our case. P.S. I expect that in attempting to respond to this review, United Home Experts will blame the installers of the original deck (since that was their explanation to me directly). They completely replaced the section of the deck and roofing where the leak took place, so that argument does not make any sense."

"Avoid! Capital?s quote was significantly more than others but they stated it was due to ?quality? of work and reputation. Lies! The project (yard drainage, pavers) took months and is still a full mess! Attached are photos- I was gaslighted stating that I was ?impossible to please? and would ?never be happy?- judge the work for yourself! Project was over $40,000 and this is what they found acceptable! If you still choose them (?) then make sure an attorney reads anything you sign as every minuscule detail must be written or they will not take any responsibility! And read financing terms very carefully as they scroll through the contract speaking but the content does NOT match what they spew! Then the threats start demanding approval for the terrible, incomplete job. You?ll be ignored and ghosted once they get their money after placing in writing the modifications that will (not) occur!"

"Signed contract on May 8 for deck build.On May 12 rep came to my office to collect deposit of apprx $13,000. He said project team meeting on Wed & would update me then on start date etc. On Fri May 16 I had to reach out to him. He wrote the team had met & materials were ordered. An hour later he wrote back that he was misinformed & that his boss was going to call me next week. Despite this, dep check cashed. On Mon 5. 20 rep wrote back that they had forgotten certain costs & to proceed it would be $8,000 more. Not a typo. $8,000 more. No apology. Ridiculous, contract rescinded. I wrote that he could return my deposit at my office just as he had collected it. On Wednesday the 21st I got a text from "Tom," presumably the owner/boss, saying he would "drop a check in the mail" to my address. Today is May 30th, Friday, and still no check. Check at a minimum should have been overnighted. They owe me interest not to mention the deposit to hire a contractor who will honor contract. Bad."

"We had Patriot replace our roof; replace all the siding, trim, gutters and downspouts; replace all the windows in the house; and rebuild the front porch. This was a huge project and Patriot did an excellent job, even in the face of COVID-related shortages. Jim and Paulo were great to work with, they worked so hard to make sure we were satisfied with all the work. The crew who did our siding and porch - the guys who were here day in and day out during the project - were such hard-working and detail-oriented guys. The finished product turned out beautifully, our house came out looking so great that both neighbors and random people driving by have stopped to comment on it!"

"We had a great experience with Igor and his team. We hired IGOR Construction to remove the old siding on our two-story house & install new vinyl siding. Igor gave a quote on the spot, which he stuck to and never tried to upsell us then or later. His team showed up on time and worked 12 hour days to get our job done in between rain storms (I was also impressed that they took legally required breaks). The job was finished in the time frame that Igor promised and looks great. Vinyl siding can look messy because the pieces have to overlap in places but they worked hard to make the front and side of the house look good (and it does). . They also left the worksite spotless - ground clean and everything reattached and put back in place. They delivered everything exactly as promised. Would hire them again!"

"Sign contract April 4th 2025 was told would take two to three weeks this job was removing pressure treated and replacing with composite material we picked out samples from local building material outlet and showed so-called supervisor what we wanted was told he would be ordering them funny thing where we got the samples all items were in stock at least a week delay items had to be special ordered what we were told another special order for the railings another week delay called or message several times to correct mistakes July 4th is just around the corner job is still not complete"

"About a month ago, a young man from Power Home Remodeling - The Quality Assurance Manager, Alex P. came to my home to inspect the work one of his crews did on my home...they replaced all the gutters and trim...$9,000 worth of gutters/trim....He needed to get up into my attic space b/c I was told the only way to 'certify' the warranty was to see the work (soffits) from inside as well...he would not take NO for an answer....tells me again about certifying the warranty so finally, I let him up there...lo and behold he says he finds water damage...I look at what he sees and I can't say yes or no that it is exactly what he is telling me... He is very aggressive during his 'pitch' for a new roof...he says that as 'management' he can bundle the gutters and roof together...he writes all of this down on a piece of paper (which I am in possession of)...says he can do both jobs for $24,900...roof and gutters... He shows me the figures...I see it on paper...how much it would cost and its monthly payment...I speak with my wife and we decide to put $10k down...he says to me that $10k will come off the $24,900 once the financing is set...he writes all of this down right in front of me...tells me the $10k will come off the loan as a down payment ... THIS WAS A BOLD FACED LIE... At no time did he EVER say the cost of this project would be $34,000+...my paper work that he showed me, DID NOT have that figure on it...if it did...I would have said NO...he told me the entire project would be $24,900...not $34,900... Had I not looked at the financing paper when it came in, I would have never known I was deceived...at no time was the cost of both projects more than $24,900...I call the company to complain...I tell them what I have in front of me...the figures that were agreed upon by my wife and I and their man Alex P...all they can say is...you signed the agreement!!! Over and over this is what I am told...I ask for Alex P to call me and to this date (6/12/25) I have yet to hear from the guy. Why is that? He's the Quality Assurance Manager...the guy who told me b/c he is management, he can give me a better price...this companies practices are deceptive. Yup I signed the agreement but was told something totally different! I am happy with the product and work but come on...everything you read for reviews on this company is 100% accurate...from how they ended up at my home (doing work in the neighborhood...sure they were!) I just threw away $10k because of this companies deceptive practices!!!! And again, why hasn't Alex P called me back? B/c they got what they wanted and know they are wrong! I have received responses from the company and both responses DO NOT address the deceptive practices of their QA manager, Alex P...I know what I was told and what I was shown for a total price. They make it as if I am an idiot and am making this stuff up...I am not!!! I am not saying I am devoid of blame here b/c I trusted them and in the end, I was misled by this company!"
