We also asked for some small paint jobs to be done to our framing in the kitchen for a nominal fee. "I contacted Cutting Edge about cleaning my flagstone patio - it needed to be washed and have polymeric sand installed in the joints. The company that had previously done it for me was no longer doing residential work. Kevin was very honest with me: he said they'd be happy to do the work but that I could probably find someone to do it for less cost. He suggested I check around with other companies. But in the meantime, he immediately emailed me an estimate. I called several other landscaping companies but they all told me they did not do this type of maintenance work. So I contacted Kevin to arrange for the work. Despite all of the bad weather we'd had, they got the job done within about 2 weeks. My patio looks brand new! Overall, the company was very responsive to me, they did a fantastic job - and I appreciate their honesty about the cost. "We had a patio installed in our backyard. We met Bill from Sharper Cut at a home improvement show in Upper Marlboro. He was very professional from the beginning and scheduled a follow up meeting for us to come out and meet with him on that day. Before we had the meeting, he came out to the property to take pictures and see the layout. We had previously had a drawing which we sent him ahead of time. When we met with him, he had prepared several different options for a patio, including landscape. He listened intently to what we wanted and implemented it, including the seating wall, pillars and lights. He was very patient, showed the designs, modified them based on our questions and requests, and explained things very clearly. When there was a delay with a stone that we originally chose for the patio, he had us choose another stone to our liking, without making any adjustments to the price. The crew that did the work, showed up timely and were extremely professional. They would have been completed on time but got delayed because of rain storms that soaked the yard. However, as soon as it dried up they came out and finished the project. We are extremely pleased with the patio and all of our neighbors that come and see it, absolutely love it. I have recommended him to several of my neighbors and would encourage anyone looking for quality work to be done for them to consider Sharper Cut. They are awesome!!!!"

"Excellent, sums it up! I had to wait while he finished another job to get the job started but well worth the wait! Gene and the guys started by demoing all the tile on the floor and removing the shower glass, and the damaged shower curb. Found subfloor issues and they fixed it all. Job was supposed to take 2 weeks and 90% was done in 1 week. They installed a new underlayment, and then the new wiring for heating. Then they covered it with thin set, my floor is solid as a rock now. Rebuilt the rotted shower curb and sealed it as it should have been originally. Laid the new tile, new stone on the curb, grouted and cleaned up! They cleaned up everyday and took special care to contain the dirt and dust during construction! Also took special care to ensure the dog did not get out while removing all the debris. The bathroom is toasty warm, looks excellent, no more rotten curb and I am so happy we selected Gene for the job! <br />"
