"I hired this company to widen my driveway after it was complete it looked very nice but then I do not do asphalt so what do I know. We were told not to drive or park on it for (4) days which we did and the wheels on the vehicles put ruts in the asphalt. I called Cooper and they sent the owners son by and all he kept saying was the area which was widened had VIRGIN SOIL that is why the ruts were created. Well now I still have the ruts but I noticed the joints where the new met the old was never joined according to another company I consulted. Cooper said they would come back in the fall but I have not seen them since. I WOULD definitely NOT RECOMMEND THIS CONTRACTOR."

We searched for a paving contractor with an excellent reputation and after receiving several estimates we selected O. Cooper. We were unable to physically be onsite to go over the project but that didn't matter as Billy suggested we meet via FaceTime. He arrived at the property on time, and we were able to walk the project virtually discussing our vision and expectations. He promptly provided us with a very detailed estimate of the work to be performed along with a price quote. Once onsite we were impressed with the obvious preparation, coordination, and execution of the project. We are so pleased with the way the driveway turned out and are grateful to O. Asphalt paving repairs or patches FAQs
With routine maintenance, a new residential asphalt driveway can last 15 to 20 years. In regions with heavy rain or freeze-thaw cycles, plan on extra maintenance to hit the upper end of that range. Concrete surfaces last even longer, from 20 to 25 years. Regular sealing and quick crack repairs go a long way toward preserving both materials.
You can pour new concrete over an existing driveway as long as the base slab is solid. Pros often place a three- to four-inch overlay to create a strong bond. If the old concrete is cracked or spalling badly, it’s wiser to remove it and start fresh to ensure durability.
Keep the surface in top shape by sealing it on schedule and tackling damage right away. Roll on a quality seal coat every three years for asphalt, and reseal concrete as needed while patching any flaws you spot. Staying ahead of small issues prevents bigger, pricier repairs and keeps your driveway looking sharp.
