They jumped right in and redid our driveway and added some concrete steps in half the time they said they would need. And it completely changed the curb appeal of the house. It all looks amazing and any concrete work we get done while we live in Stafford will be done by American Custom Hardscapes!"

"With the exception of two cosmetic details that I accepted (should not have in retrospect), the workmanship was very good. Well-qualified crew with exceptional on-site leadership. Very clean job site. Reasonable price. A communication breakdown, however, drops my rating from five stars to four. Without advance notice or agreement, TWF billed me for work outside the contract (replaced decorative stones and landscaping fabric moved to accommodate the construction project). $250 for about a half hour's work by a laborer on site for another purpose who had completed his other duties. I am happy to pay for good work, and generously tip workers who deserve it -- which I did. But I resent surprises and unreasonable markups."

"Brent Thomas came out to estimate my storm door replacement on a weekend. I had a detailed estimate in my e-mail several days later. He let me schedule the replacement itself on a weekend, also, so that I could avoid missing work. He helped me select a replacement door, picked it up, removed the old door, and installed the new one. The replacement took just shy of 4 hours. I'm an introvert, so I assumed I'd be reading most of it, but he was engaging, and we talked about all sorts of things while he worked. He also noticed a small fix he could do (to run my satellite cable through my siding instead of propping my door open) and he did that work at no additional charge. I suspect my place was cleaner AFTER he left than before he started working. I will hire him back in a heartbeat for my next repair."

Taylor was very thorough with the details of their products and services. he first listened to my concerns and raised some concerns of his own that needed attention. it was clear Ogburn was the company to go with even though i received a cheaper quote from another well-rated company. their products and approach appeared to be superior. when i made a change to the original quote, Taylor quickly sent over an addendum for review. on the day of the job, Justus was prompt. the weather was perfect for the job, but his equipment broke, so the job was delayed a couple days. it was an all-day affair, and Justus did it all: cracked concrete repair, removal of wooden joints and replacement with NexusPro sealant, PolyLevel injection to fill voids (no lifting was necessary), and topical concrete protection with SealantPro. thanks for a great job, Ogburn!"

They were very thorough to the point of determining the stain and problem was coming from our dishwasher in the kitchen. They went the extra mile over something that would not benefit them earning work but longed us in the right direction. Top notch honest professionals. Very thoughtful and helpful.
