"The materials seemed better and while it cost more I was very happy that our entire roof was removed and replaced. However, Power talks a big game with customer service, communication and clean up. The app they tout has very little information beyond prep, working and finished. While cleanup was impressive in the yard the driveway did not have the attention to detail I expected, especially when it came to tires. After the crew left I picked up 22 nails, 20 in my driveway. While that number is small all things considered, I was shocked for what was found in my driveway. The company did reimburse me via a Visa Giftcard for the flat tire I got the day the roof was replaced. No one told us that the team was finished for the day and would have to come back the next until 3 hours later. We went out side and everyone was gone but a trailer in our yard. A few hours later someone from the crew came and knocked on our door saying they would be back tomorrow and took the trailer. This was never noted in the app that our sales rep went on and on about. Our sales rep ensured us that a project manager would be on site with us at the completion of the project. That was not the case. Someone did come out a few days later. Management apologized to us and said we were going to be used as an example that sales should not be talking such a big game and over promising to clients. I cannot stress this enough. If I knew no one would before there the day the work was finished it would have been a deal breaker and we told the sales rep so. When I called the office to ask why someone wasn't coming out the project manager who answer argued with me about someone being on site for the finish of the project. And while his manager apologized that I felt was extremely unprofessional. We did have someone come out to inspect the work the day after the roof was finished. I never got an answer if this was standard to always have someone out or if I just got upset enough. I was told that the company does too many projects to have someone come out at the end of every project. Our gutter guards had to be taken off (we were told by the sales rep they did not need to be). When they were put back on nails now hang down from the gutter. Am I happy the work was done, yes. The planking on our roof was causing our family health issues and needed to be disposed of instead of new wood over top. We are seeing a difference in our health and you cannot put a price tag on that. However, I was greatly disappointed with the promise of stellar service when in fact it was no better than other contractors we have worked for in the past. We will not be going with Power for other services on our home"

"Our 1955 Ranch-style home with 28-year old asphalt shingles was experiencing leaks in the attic with every storm. (Plus the fascia boards on the windward side were about half rotted, as were corner sections of the old wooden soffits.) Even the gutters (bent in places from falling branches) had leaks. Bluebird brought everything up to code. After removing the old shingles and applying new tar-paper, they decked the entire roof (which already had sturdy 1X6 decking) with reflective half-inch paneling -- before topping these panels with architectural-grade 4-tab shingles. (Before laying the decking they had cut off the obsolete dormer-style louvered vents, replacing them with up-to-date ridge vents.) They finished this work, plus roofing our 12 X 12 storage shed and removing their trash in a day and a half total. Bluebird then sent in their gutter crew, headed up by Elder Alvarado. New 1 X 8 fascia boards replaced the rotting 1 X 6's, backed around the entire house by straight 2 X 6 lumber nailed to the rafter ends. The fascia boards were then wrapped in aluminum that tucked up under the aluminum drip edge under the shingles. We were blown away by the results of this upgrade. Next the old wooden soffits were cut out and replaced by breathable vinyl panels. All new aluminum gutters, downspouts, and screwed-down leaf guards completed the job. (Now I can rest a ladder anywhere against this integrated structure and the gutter simply does not budge.) The gutters, fascia boards, and soffits were a huge challenge, and because of frequent thunderstorms took nearly five days, but Elder's crew immediately fixed whatever slightest complaint I had, plus cleaned up their mess at the end of each workday. At first I was hesitant to go for all new gutters, but the results speak for themselves."

"Workers showed up when supposed to and were very professional. Tore off old roof, replaced compromised decking and facia, and replaced with new roofing. This is the second job I have used TCS for, the other being gutter replacement. The two jobs done by TCS are the best experiences I have ever had with having home repair work done. I don't think I am unreasonably hard to please, but I do expect companies to show up when they say, answer or return phone calls or text in a timely manner (which is great with TCS!), clean up after themselves and do a quality job and stand behind their work. "The owner of this company, Jeremy (Jay), is very friendly and professional. First, he responded very quickly to our request for an estimate, and when we chose his company, they were able to begin within a week or so. He understood the issues that we had in replacing a deck that had prematurely begun deteriorating, and his crew was able to replace about 80% of it while salvaging the parts that were still in good shape. Jay was also happy to fine-tune the minor tweaks that needed to be made after the old deck was demolished and the new one installed. Our project turned out to have more issues than he could anticipate, but he stood by his original price quote. He is trustworthy and provides what he promises. His price was very reasonable, and we believe that we received our money's worth. "I have used Sparkman Roofing Remodeling and Restoration.  They completed the work in October or November.  We did the estimate so it was $1300 because this was on an insurance claim.  So this was our deductable and additional work that was done outside of the insurance claim.  He honored that completely.  That was great.  We had the entire roof replaced and they did some interior work where there was some water damage, so they primed and painted where that interior damage was.  Good was that the work they did was excellent.  It took a little longer than I anticipated but not too bad.  We did have a problem with the lead foreman on the job in that he would promise work and then wouldn't show up, but as soon as I contacted Mr. Sparkman things would be taken care of.  It turns out they had to let that foreman go because he was having personal problems and letting it affect his work.  So Mr. Sparkman was very good about explaining why they had some problems and making sure that things got done.  While there was some issues, Mr. Sparkman took care of them and they were very easy to talk with."

"After calling several roofing companies for pricing and availability, I scheduled a roof maintenance service with Southern Strong because they offered the best price AND could accommodate my schedule. The very next day, Wade arrived promptly, inspected my roof, and then showed me photos as he explained the situation: the flashing around the exhaust fan (as well as other places) was not properly sealed, and there were several exposed nails and penetrations. After he caulked the exposed nails and re-secured the headwall flashing, he showed me photos of the completed work. He said that if that these repairs didn't solve the problem, he would recommend replacing the flashing and the affected shingles. It is now seven months later, and I haven't had a single problem with the roof since then.
