Customers say: Quality work

"Bobby responded promptly to my initial email and was easily reachable despite being a busy business owner. He explained the materials and process and was personally on site every day of the project. We had 400 square feet of patio to put in. He and his small team were finished, with all their equipment policed up, in less than 4 days; that included a short rain delay."

"Robert, the owner, and his EXCELLENT team did an "A+" job. It was a positive experience from the initial phone call to the estimation process. Tyler, Robert's assistant, showed up as scheduled to begin the estimation process, and had some great ideas. He also did a great job keeping us up-to-date during the whole process. [We were so pleased with the initial experience and estimate that we did not shop around for any other estimates.] Robert provided additional spot-on advice that completely exceeded the vision my wife and I had. I understand why Royal Landscaping Services is so busy, as Robert really has an "eye" to bridge form and function with aesthetics. Also, I want to note that Robert's team was very professional and worked extremely hard over during this project. They were absolutely great! The team corrected the drainage issues by burying the gutters using solid PVC drain pipes, not the corrugated pipes that clog and crack, etc. [By the way, we just went through Hurricane Matthew, had 9 plus inches of rain in 24 hours, and the drains work perfectly!! No erosion issues in the back yard, either.] Next they installed a 40 foot curved retaining wall using Heritage Block. This block is exactly what their logo states, "The most attractive retaining wall block in the world." It looks AWESOME. On top of that our badly cracked 12' X 12' concrete pad was removed and replaced with a poured 28' X 17' concrete patio that extends all the way to the curved wall. But, that's not all… Robert's team topped off the patio with a hand-applied acrylic coating that looks like large flagstone. It is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. The team graded around the back and sides of our property; laid down the strongest weed barrier fabric I've ever seen; brought in top soil; and installed great looking, shade tolerant Bermuda grass, which had just been cut a few hours earlier from the sod farm. They also brought in a dump truck load of mulch to take care of the front and back of the house. Juniper bushes were also added behind the retaining wall to help prevent future erosion. Our back yard was embarrassing, but now it definitely has the "WOW" factor. Thank you, again Robert, to you and your OUTSTANDING team for all your hard work! My wife and I are very satisfied customers."

Exceptional Business. Quality work ? Yes.  Quality Service ? Yes.  Quality workers - Yes.

I agree with all the other positive comments and definitely recommend them without hesitation.  They care about the quality of their work - they have a 10 year warranty on their workmanship.

Came out to look at my roof and were very informative.   They spent time pointing out my neighbors house, the shortcuts their roofer had made and why that roof may not last over time / through a hurricane.

They replaced my roof, replaced a lot of the damaged wood under the old shingles. Took down my unused oil burner chimney to below the roof line and roofed over it. Took pictures of the work in progress and gave me them when finished.  Everything happened on time, and cleaned up afterwards.

I also had them replace my windows. That also went smoothly. All thier workers were great, very polite and answered any questions I had.  When it was discovered that the window manufacturer had sent one window that was the wrong style, they put in a temporary window. Came back 2 weeks later and installed the correct one with out any issue.

They will be my first point of contact for future work on the house.

So happy I found someone who I can trust to do a job RIGHT.

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Spring Lake, NC

The recommended interval for paver maintenance varies based on several factors, including climate conditions, usage patterns, and sealant type. Most surfaces benefit from resealing every two to five years, with more frequent attention needed in harsh environments or high-traffic areas.

Properties with significant tree coverage or water exposure may require more regular maintenance. Annual inspection allows homeowners to identify emerging issues before they require extensive intervention.

Professional service providers offer several advantages, including specialized equipment calibrated for optimal application rates, thorough preparation techniques, and experience identifying underlying issues that might affect sealant performance.

Technicians understand product compatibility with different paver materials and can recommend appropriate solutions for specific conditions. The efficiency and precision of professional application often results in more consistent coverage and potentially longer-lasting protection compared to first-time DIY efforts.

Optimal timing for paver sealing projects depends primarily on weather conditions rather than specific calendar dates. The application requires consistently dry conditions with moderate temperatures, between 50°F and 85°F.

Spring and fall often provide ideal conditions in many regions, avoiding both excessive heat that causes rapid drying and cold temperatures that inhibit proper curing. The surface must be completely dry before application, requiring several consecutive precipitation-free days beforehand.

Initial drying times vary by product type and environmental conditions. Most water-based sealants become touch-dry within two to four hours but require 24 to 48 hours before supporting normal foot traffic.

Solvent-based products need slightly longer initial drying periods but may develop full hardness more quickly. Factors like humidity, temperature, and air circulation significantly influence drying rates. For vehicle traffic or furniture placement, manufacturers recommend waiting at least 48 to 72 hours to ensure complete curing.
