"Last year Northland Fence installed a tan vinyl privacy fence for my 1 acre lot, replacing a rotted cedar fence that was falling down. I was really impressed by the post design as a means to anchor the fencing without future rotting issues, and it saved lots of installation time versus the older cement process. This was a huge fence, and they completed in two days of work, and the fence looks great! Fast forward one year later and strong winds this year have knocked over 6 x 30-foot trees from my neighbor's yard into my yard, damaging the fence in multiple places, bending posts and breaking side panels. Tim came by to perform the repair last week and the fence is completely restored to previous condition in about 2-3 hours of work. You could not tell that so much damage had occurred except for some cleaning that I need to do. While onsite, Tim also addressed some sag in installed fence doors with very well-built diagonal braces and adjusted the doors to being square. He was polite, professional, and delivered great results - represents the Northland Fence brand well. Strongly endorse the fence solutions from Northland. "Sections of our chain link fence and 2 gates needed to be repaired. Due to settling 2 areas of our fence were leaning and 2 gates wouldn't close because the fence had shifted. We got 3 quotes for repairs. The first 2 companies both said they needed to replace the sections of top rail and posts, along with the gates, which was expensive. Dan said the fence could be adjusted without replacing everything. The project was done soon after he came out to look at it. Dan and his crew got the job done quickly.  A few things were fixed, replaced and the rest was adjusted so that it is straight and the gates latch again. We really appreciate Dan fixing the problems without adding on unnecessary costs and replacing things that didn't need to be replaced. We are very happy with the work and would use Top Line Fence again. "

Responses included 1) they don't do chain link fence any longer, 2) the job was too small to bother with, or 3) they simply didn't return my phone call. "Everything went great. I'd highly recommend A&M. I reached out to A&M to quote replacement of the section of wire that I had most problems with. He responded quickly with a quote. I normally would have tried to do it myself, but his price was very competitive. After pricing out how much it would be to rent an edger, buy 500 ft of 14 ga professional wire for pet fences and then figuring the hassle, it was a pretty easy decision. I called around to other invisible fence installers and they were multiple times more expensive, even including a ~$200 charge just to come out and check the system (which I didn't need, as I new it was working). I had also tried purchasing and using two pet fence break detectors in the past and had limited luck. I'm hoping that I can now just sell them and use this guy in the future. Curt (of A&M) arranged to have Gopher 1 out there the day before to mark the site- I didn't have to do anything with that. We worked out a time that he could come out to do the work that worked for my schedule. He ended slightly early on his earlier jobs so he texted me that he was able to come out ahead of time. He was also nice enough not to ring the door bell and wake my 5 week old son. He pounded the job out quickly and without any mess- installing the 14 ga wire. He also worked with me for a few special needs I had in running the line- very reasonable guy. He finished by verifying for me that the new line worked. He definitely knew his stuff and seemed to stand behind his work. I'd hire him again- super easy to work with."

"He was punctual, got the job done in a timely manor.  Priced better than the other two estimates that I got plus he was able to get the job done sooner.  Cleaned up well.  Most importantly, when he found out one of my dogs could squeeze through the area between my home and the fence post, he added an extra post so the dog couldn't get out.  He even took down at least 6 large lilac bushes that were in the way of the fence and didn't charge me extra.  <br />"

"Midwest Fence was great. I contacted three fence companies that were highly rated on Angie's list. One never responded. One gave me a quick quote over the phone sight/site unseen and said his guy would contact me. No subsequent contact. On the other hand, Midwest Fence's salesperson called me back the same day, He came out, looked at what we wanted, discussed options, and gave me a quote lower than the other. Since it was November, I was told work probably could not begin until spring. To our joy, the fence was installed during a warm spell in December. It looks great. The crews were professional and pleasant. Two weeks later when I called about an adjustment I needed, a crew appeared the next day and made the adjustment."
