"JR was punctual and communicated well throughout the project. We had a large 15 foot long crack in our plastered living room ceiling which he repaired and painted. It was a tricky repair because he had to match the swirl in the plaster and it turned out great. He also repaired cracks in our upstairs hallway and painted it. He cleaned up thoroughly and finished in the original estimated time. His prices are reasonable and fair. We will definitely be hiring him again to paint the exterior of our house."

"All of the work was done professionally and with a great deal of care. All of the workers were prompt and very hard working. When we had questions or concerns, Higgins was there to listen and adjust the plan to meet our concerns. We had some damaged wood that was in need of repair and they took care of that for us. We were also provided some other recommendations to make sure that areas were sealed properly, and they took care of those areas for us. Lastly, their suggestions for painting certain trim work and gutters different colors, really did a number for bringing the whole look together. The whole time, they were committed to making sure that we were happy with the work being done, and that was very comforting to know. "Papa's paint were extremely thorough in their effort to paint the exterior trim of my 90 year old home. The entire job start to finish took about two and half weeks, and included significant scraping, power washing, repair, caulking, priming, and finally painting. Most of two weeks was spent on prep work. Due to their diligence, the condition of the trim was far improved in the final product as they caulked and sanded areas that had been greatly deteriorated or had showed evidence of past paint chipping and scraping. They also gladly painted detailed parts of the trim to fit my vision for the color scheme. The crew were very nice and courteous, and cleaned up at the end of each day. They typically didn't start until 10am each day, where some days we had a full crew and other days only one or two workers were available to work on our house. Papa's paint was our highest bid, however, we decided to choose them because their quote included the most guaranteed prep work, including full priming, not just spot priming, caulking and repair, and two coats. "Our old house on the Northside of Pittsburgh was in need of an exterior facelift and a new front porch to replace the one that had collapsed. I met with Dave LaBovick of Exceptional Exteriors and we agreed upon a price, which my wife and I found quite reasonable. The work on the vinyl siding began about a week later and took only a half a day to wrap up. The job was done to our complete satisfaction, The before and after is like night and day. Another crew arrived a few days later to do the porch and sidewalk. They began work on a Thursday afternoon and were finished 24 hours later. Once again, we are very happy with the result. In both cases, they removed all debris and left-over building materials associated with the job. We are not only completely satisfied with the work that Exceptional Exteriors did for us, we are looking forward to hiring them again for our next home project."

"The work went really well. I was traveling and when I got back there was a lot of water damage around 2 main windows in the house. I had the bricks repointed but needed someone to fix the plaster around the windows. They did a great job, were very polite and cleaned up the mess afterwards."

"Marvin did a great job painting our entire interior (walls and ceilings for 3BR ranch, excluding the laundry room and closets) at a reasonable price. The quality of his work was very good -- even though our house was brand new, the builder's paint job was mediocre. Marvin sanded and patched areas, including the drywalled garage, and dealt with the flat paint that was originally used. It sucked up the new paint like crazy, but now there is such a nice light sheen on smooth walls everywhere. He was professional at all times, worked quietly (a plus since we work from home) and cleaned up after every visit. Our job required a little more than a week's worth of work, so as an individual contractor on a few occasions Marvin had to reschedule or change his start time. If you have the flexibility, though, it was well worth any schedule adjustments."

"First, I have to say, that Wayne returned my call to schedule for a quote and he came out in a timely manner and was very informative. Others did not. I called 6 painters, other than Wayne, 4 called back; but only 3 showed up to discuss and give quotes. We have an "extreme property"- part of the house is cantilevered over a creek and surrounded by hillside of woods. After speaking with Wayne, I felt he, or whomever he assigned to paint our house, would do a good job and be safe! He recommended a product to use on our overhangs and we bought, as well as the house paint since we were doing rest of the house and our garage. Wayne called and came out to power wash our home. He then called to let me know when Frank and Bill were planning on starting. I was pleased with the work and their care of our property, and appreciated that they changed out light bulbs on our outdoor fixtures that have been burned out for a year or more!"
