"Dale is a hard working guy. He used a sledge hammer to break up the old concrete drive. That took a little time, but he worked steadily and didn't miss a day. He had the new drive poured and he did good work smoothing and finishing the pavement. <br /> <br /> The only problem we had is that in the area between the sidewalk and the street, he did not widen the left approach. He said we didn't need it because we lived on a dead end street and would not be approaching from that direction. I said I wanted it, and he did not want to do it without more money. What he did not understand was that when we backed out of the drive, we needed that left approach to back out on. It's difficult to back out, without getting on the grass. <br /> <br /> So, make sure you communicate your wants/needs specifically, draw a schematic of how you want the work done, and you'll do fine with this contractor."
