"Josh and his team just completed a huge concrete project in my West Seneca home. The total square footage was nearly 2500. The job consisted of completely blasting of years of old sealer, bringing back the the color, highlighting the borders and then sealing the concrete. Josh and his team worked morning til night, and were meticulous in the care of my property the entire way. Every detail of the job was explained and any question or issues were immediately taken care of. "The requested job was completed as discussed during initial estimate.  All within a pretty quick timeframe.  <br /> The aftermath however was somewhat of a mess due to the injection material being sprayed <br /> in a few different places on my steps and walkway.  Carmen had noted that right away that same day that he would come out and powerwash to clean up the mess.  He did as promised within 2 weeks (after one reminder call) however the stains remained on the steps. <br /> I sent an email to him indicating my frustration with the way the job was left.  Carmen rectified the situation by coming back out and painting my walkway and steps with a very nice concrete paint that both covered up the mess, and actually made my front porch much more aesthetically pleasing to the eye. <br /> 'The level of follow up and service made this whole expierience worthwhile.  After dealing with other contractors in the past, I was afraid that I might not ever hear from him again, however this was just the opposiite.  Carmen made sure to follow up after he had painted to see what I thought.  He even left the remaning paint behind so i could finish off my landing.` <br /> I would recommend this company to others for sure"

"One of the best decisions I made was choosing Broad Spectrum for this job. The job was overseen by one of the company’s owners due to the complication of the slope and layout of the driveway as well as the garage floor, which unfortunately was not built in a conventional manner. I had quotes from other companies but never felt comfortable with any of them and it wasn’t because of cost, although some were outrageously expensive. It was the approach they would take with the driveway and the garage. I waited for several years until a neighbor, as well as an old friend, told me about their recent concrete work completed by Broad Spectrum. I phoned the company and Jim Broad came out in a timely manner and spent a good deal of time explaining /discussing how the work would be completed. Once started, the job was completed in less than 2 full days and there were several follow up visits by other company employees, one of which was to seal all the concrete that was laid down. Two years later, and everything still looks great."

"I have a 53 year old home and the garage floor was in very bad shape.I got Rob from CCS and he did an awesome job repairing and resurfacing the old cracked and pitted concrete. He then coated with an epoxy coating and the floor turned out amazing. He is very professional and considerate and called me each day to let me know when he was coming out . The job overall took 3-4 days to complete but well worth the time . He is very meticulous and cleans up afterwards. He beat all the other companies when it came to the price.I recommend him highly."

"We had several estimates and as it was Fall, many felt they couldn't get it done.  Mr. Merlo just seemed very knowledgeable and gave us more hands-on information than the others.  He was the only contractor who even mentioned my center drain in the garage.  He was very present and available during the entire process, not just the boss who comes if there is a problem or a salesman.  During the demolition, Mr. Merlo worked very hard to discover where our drain was emptying and requested an irrigation consult.  We lost very little time as he had an amazing consultant who assessed our problems and attended to them.  It explained entirely why our garage floor had been so buckled. Mr. Merlo's team was courteous, extremely punctual, and efficient.  They even repaved a back patio piece that that had been broken up for the irrigation work.  The driveway looks great! <br />"

"The finished job is quite pleasing.  Only time will tell about the quality of the work, as we will have to wait (like any concrete job) to see if the preparations were adequate, and frankly I have confidence that they know what they are doing and it will prove to be a job well done by competent people.  However, (there is always a "however"), I emailed the contractor (Mark) a few days after the job was complete.  My email detailed how pleased we were with the overall look of the job, but I was disappointed with the way they poured in one particular spot.  Frankly, I can't imagine why they would have left a triangular shaped 6 inch wide gap where 3 angles merged at the side of our pool house. It is in an area that we would use to access an outdoor shower, so bare feet would be the norm.  Nine days later....no response.  So, I resent the email.  Several more days went by before I got a response, which was.....wait for it......"Put a rock on it".  Period.  Nothing more.  In itself, that is a ridiculous suggestion for the reasons stated above.  Add the time delay and lack of response, and I wouldn't have felt any differently than if he said "I cashed your check, so screw you".  That is what the definition of "Leaving a bad taste in your mouth" is. <br />"
