"Flue Tech installed a stainless steel chimney liner and an Enervex fan for the building which was required for proper draft. Although the fan required electrical wiring they refused to get involved with the wiring. We later had problems with the system and Flue Tech has blamed it on the electrician. They tell us it's a very simple fix but they again won't get involved with even low-voltage wiring! It is hugely disappointing that a so-called professional chimney installation company doesn't have the in-house capability of even doing low-voltage wiring for the systems they install. If a proper chimney installation requires the use of a fan, the company should have the capability of hooking it up. This would be the equivalent of a boiler company installing a new boiler for you and saying, "hey, we'll install the boiler, but you have to find your own guy to do the wiring for the boiler and all the controls and don't call us if you have a problem!" We would never use this company again on anything that required wiring of any kind."
