"They were absolutely amazing to work with. Our house is 118 years old and they hadn't been updated since the 70s. They treated my home like their own. I am beyond happy with the end result"

"Great! Joe has worked for us before…installed patio door, remodeled room by removing a wall, installing a beam and even building a cabinet for the room. All just beautiful! Most recently he put in 9 windows for my husband and I. He does quality work and does he his job area clean. I would not hesitate to hire him for your job!"

"The auto transport service provided by United Freight of America is an A+++ organization! I reserved the covered auto transport truck and boy, is that truck fancy! It has lifts that raise and lower to load your vehicle inside, to keep it clear from the elements. I needed them to transport my deceased brother's vehicle to me in Texas- that car is my heart now as my brother cherished it so! I needed a quality company- one that I could trust and most of all, rely on to get the vehicle to me in pristine condition. They did just that! And, I don't want to forget the Driver as well as he could not have been more professional. I HIGHLY recommend this auto transport company. I don't know that I have seen a classier auto transport company. Call them :-)"

"I love working with the owner & all employees.  They are friendly & go out of their way to help, no matter the problem.  My bathroom is small & needed more storage space.  Dan, the owner of Loebrich's, was very helpful in finding just the right surround & fixtures to solve my problem.  The job was completed in a timely manner with little or no disruption to my personal routine.  The workers always cleaned up before departing for the day & showed up on time the next day until the job was done.  I would call Loebrich's Contracting for any job around my house, no matter how small.  They are always willing to help or find help for me.  I would highly recommend them. <br />"

"Rick and his crew worked very efficiently. He estimated that the work of remodeling the bathroom would take about a week - he took a little longer than that, but only because I ended up changing my mind about the floor tile and asked him to change it - which he did without any issue. Even though the crew ran into some small issues while working (for example, 2 of the newly laid bathroom floor tiles cracked the moment that they placed the new toilet on top and they had to replace the broken tiles), they worked around them and assured me repeatedly that they would never leave the job until all of their very high standards were satisfied)."

"Working with Zack and Scott was great! Even thought this was all done online and over the phone they were accommodating time wise, and even when I asked to include my father on the conference call they were happy to allow him to chime in as well. We started out with a brief consultation describing what they would do, the cost and what we could expect.  Then we did a call where we measured our basement, this was a little tricky as we needed 2 people to do this and we had to tell them our exact measurements, but they made sure we were measuring correctly and that everything added up the way it should, and they took into consideration every nook, cranny and pipe.  Then we meet briefly with Scott to discuss a preliminary layout, how many bedrooms, closets, TV location, bar vs. buffet, couch size that sort of thing. Scott was very knowledgeable and even accounted for bed sizes to make sure there would be enough walking space around any furniture we would want to add.  Then Scott presented us with a final design, this is when he gladly allowed my father to ask questions and get details about the project.  He answered all of our questions about location or outlets, and lights, and even some more detailed questions.  Overall we had a great experience and I really enjoyed working with them.  They listened to us (definitely the most important thing) when we didn't want something they took it out or if we did want something they added it (if they could), they explained why they had made some design choices we weren't as sure about so we could understand why they were important or if we really wanted to do them. <br />"

FAQs for remodel to accommodate a disability projects in State College, PA

Standard Medicare coverage often doesn't extend to home modifications, such as roll-in showers. In specific circumstances where medical necessity is clearly established, limited coverage might be available through certain Medicare programs. Many homeowners explore alternative funding sources such as home modification grants, veterans' benefits, or specialized financing programs designed for accessibility improvements. Consulting with a Medicare representative about your specific situation provides the most accurate guidance.

Roll-in showers deliver significant benefits beyond their monetary return, particularly in terms of safety, independence, and long-term accessibility. By eliminating barriers to bathing, these installations help prevent falls while accommodating mobility devices, such as wheelchairs or walkers. Their open design creates a contemporary appearance that appeals to many homebuyers. For households planning to age in place or accommodate family members with mobility challenges, the functional advantages often outweigh pure financial considerations.

A standard roll-in shower installation takes two to four days. Projects requiring extensive renovation or plumbing changes may take longer, potentially extending to several weeks or months. Factors affecting the timeline include existing bathroom configuration, permit processing times, contractor availability, and material delivery schedules. Creating proper drainage slopes often requires additional preparation time compared to traditional shower installations, particularly when modifying existing floor structures.
