"I signed a contract for work to be completed in 4 weeks. 4 Months later, work was finally (mostly) done - but only with extreme nagging on my part and excessive excuses and push back. The contractor only came to the project site if his sub-contractors created an issue (which was often). They dropped my A/C unit down a 10 foot hole, they didn't finish half the projects they said they would and completed the other half incorrectly based on hand drawings and gestures because neither the contractor or I could speak the same language as the sub-contractors, they made promises to show up and never did. Worst of all, they used design plans from a previous contractor that were approved by the city - but didn't use those plans and never updated the plans. The city inspector came and did not pass the project due to this discrepancy, but Vladimir told me it had passed. The city told me the permit expired. So - now Vladimir won't answer my emails and I have to pay someone else to fix it all."

"Avoid Elegant Paving & Masonry. They knocked on my door repeatedly, kept texting and calling until I agreed to let them replace my driveway. They started demolition on April 25, 2025, dug up part of the driveway, tore out part of my lawn, dumped the sod on my storm water easement, and left a pile of old asphalt in the street. Over 6 weeks later, the job is still not done. I sent them a formal request with a deadline—they responded with “OK sorry sir” and made excuses like "I still have until 12 AM" instead of giving a real plan to finish the work. Since then, they’ve disappeared again. My property is a mess, and they’ve shown zero professionalism or reliability. I’m now preparing to report them to state licensing and consumer protection agencies. Be careful—this company is not trustworthy."

They even moved the excess dirt into a neat pile exactly where we requested. Once the job was done, they thoroughly cleaned up and even blew the driveway free of debris. "JES Foundation contracts all their electrical work out to Root Electric. In the process of installing my new sump pump, back-up sump pump, and sump pump alarm system, it was determined that a new dedicated outlet could not be created due to my existing electrical panel being too small. Thus, I needed to get an electrical panel upgrade. Through JES Foundation, a date and time was arranged to have my new electrical panel upgrade installed. The lead Root electrician Andrew, and his assistant Andy, dd a terrific job installing the new upgraded electric panel. They were both very friendly, efficient, and professional. Andrew afterwards walked me through everything that was done, and answered any questions that I had. They also cleaned up afterwards very well.
