"Called, he called me back a few minutes later and instead of charging me for a service call, he walked me through the fix on the phone in less than 5 minutes! Very professional and courteous. I would definitely hire him for future work!"

"Allenâ s was very professional and did everything within a timely manner. Iâ m thankful for what they did for me. I highly recommend this company."

"Everything went well. Gary and his crew were great! They all treated me with respect and worked very hard. We're extremely happy with the deck. There are a few rough spots that I would've liked to get fixed, but what was done had to be done I guess. The only real problem I had, was the owner. I messaged him to see if the cosmetic repairs could be fixed. He bypassed everything I told him and made an excuse for the decks cosmetics. And questioned why I was calling 2 weeks later and complaining. Well we don't sit there 24/7. And of course sitting there, you notice little things that are imperfect. Yes, I did agree when I t was completed, to do an inspection myself, but again, you notice more, when you are actually sitting there. He did however, agree to fix what was wrong. However, I never received a warranty nor a written guarantee, for a $16,000 deck. If we need construction again, I would recommend asking for Gary and his crew, to do the job!! !"

"We called Machen for an estimate to tear off our old roof on our house and detached garage. They were very responsive and Jodi even came out on a Saturday to give us an estimate. He was very knowledgeable regarding the materials and products we needed, and we were impressed that he actually climbed the roof to take all of the measurements, where other contractors we had contacted did not. The estimate we received was fair considering that the roof deck would need wrapped and the amount of ice guard we needed. Jodi and his team were on time every day and got right to work. They took their time on the job and were very conscientious about the work performed to ensure it was done correctly. Jodi takes a lot of pride in ensuring the job site remains neat and takes a lot of care to ensure they thoroughly clean up before leaving for the day. We ran into heavy rain halfway through the project and Jodi even came out on the weekend to ensure that the roof was water tight before the rain hit. The new roof looks great and we are very pleased with the end result!"

"These guys were awesome. They called me back immediately when other companies never returned my calls. I needed a stairway rebuilt to my second floor apartment. They took the time to do the job right. Then went above and beyond to help me out with some other things around the house. What a blessing!!!"

"We are absolutely thrilled with out new addition that Howard heating and home improvements did for us. It turned out even better than we had envisioned. The workers were kind, polite and very knowledgeable. And they cleaned up when they were finished. We saved so much by using this company and plan to use Howard heating and home improvements for everything and anything else we need done. We have been recommending them to everyone because of how pleased we are!"

"The work completed was good, however, delays and lack of communication was difficult for me to handle as Kevin did not call to discuss delays and scheduling and that left me to call multiple times to get a hold of him. He also stated he would be on the job on a certain day and did not show up or call. I had to keep pursuing him for job completion."

"What started out as a simple request for mowing the lawn, turned into a total yard clean up/landscaping. The property itself is very large and had not been properly maintained for at least 5 years. Needless to say, all hedges, bushes, and areas that were once mowed were at least waist high or taller. Within one week - several trips - Devon - the owner of the company had everything under control. It was very important to me since I don't live at the property and live in a different state, that all concerns were addressed. Truth be told, I am a perfectionist and have very high expectations. Not only did Devon take before pictures for me - all angles of the yard, but also followed up with after pictures to show the work that had been completed. Beautiful work! In addition, Devon is a great communicator. He lets you know the status of the work and is always prompt with returning calls - very responsive! With all of this outstanding service, I was expecting a steep price. I was pleasantly surprised with the pricing and I'm here to tell you that this company is the most reasonably priced in the area. What a pro! I highly recommend. 5 ð ð ð ð ð all the way!!!!!"
