"Being new to town it was difficult even getting quotes for our house and finding reliable people. This company was incredibly impressive from the start. The response time was right away and communication continued to be top notch through out the entire job. They had patience while we were deciding on a color choice, they went above and beyond with every aspect of the job. Can’t say enough good things about them, the house looks amazing. Professionalism, great work, communication, respectfulness. We have already asked them for future interior work."

"I recently had my shingle roof replaced and I?m very happy with the results. The team was professional, punctual, and completed the job efficiently. The quality of the work is excellent, and the new roof looks great. They kept the work area clean and communicated well throughout the process. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing a roof replacement."

"Bright's estimator arrived when scheduled, and responded within a week with a thorough written estimate and proposed terms. Initially, responses to my questions about the bid, submitted by e-mail and phone, went unanswered for several weeks, but as I was about to give up on this firm, Bright's manager responded to all the questions, apologized for the time lapse (due to a change in communications management), and agreed to a more competitive price. Subsequent communications were very responsive and we quickly negotiated and executed our contract without difficulty. We then agreed to start the job on a date that worked well for my schedule. Bright's painters began on schedule; carefully and skillfully repaired holes and cracks, primed walls and trim, and painted final coats to my satisfaction. Each day they arrived when promised, worked efficiently and carefully, and cleaned up in preparation for the next day. They responded quickly to my questions and requests, and made touch-ups whenever requested. Most days they worked 8 AM till nearly 5 PM with a lunch break, with a crew of two (three on a couple of days), and finished the job in just over two weeks. Bright's painters and management were a pleasure to work with. The quality of Bright's work was excellent, and they protected my furnishings and wood floors carefully. When I discovered several small omissions a few days after concluding the job, Bright's crew manager came back two days later to correct the omissions to my satisfaction."

"I've known Ronney for a couple of years now and he is absolutely wonderful to work with. He will project manage everything and is very flexible with the types of services he can provide. For example, I needed a second thermostat installed upstairs which required HVAC expertise, electrical wires to be run a long way and then patch and painting for the walls and he handled all of those parts for me at a reasonable price. He's also done numerous other jobs (that were less complex) for me that were great as well."

"I called Tony to power clean re-stain my deck plus replace 1 warped slat when I saw his fantastic reviews and ratings. Within 24 hours he responded. He was most courteous, professional and willing. He even gave me an adjusted estimate when I erred in my communication with him. Unfortunately, with addressing the needs of my 94-year-old mom in a hospital this whole project came to a halt due to financing and time. Tony was most agreeable and understanding. I will definitely hire him to do the job in the spring. I would totally trust him."

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Stockbridge, MA

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
