"They are honest about things that needed to be done, that he could or could not do. He has a lot going on and so he has to work on bigger project first but that is common. Sometimes if he do not have a big job you cannot really expect to get quick service, that kind of goes for a lot of people. "Steve did a very good job puttting in a new outside door as well as the kitchen faucet and toilet shut-off valve. <br /> The 3' x 5' area floor tiles to be replaced I tried to find tiles to match the linoleum to look better, and he says he has to use a transition piece, and buys a black molded piece to use which is so ugly with no call to me. Then he forgets to include the metal bar for the transition piece on the side near the pantry, and places it on top of the linoleum now the transition piece it too high. Already my pantry door has to be trimmed because of the transition piece now it has to be trimmed again because it is on top of the linoleum. Dirt can get underneath it. My idea is if the 12" tiles had been cut smaller, and designed better why even have a transition piece at all? <br /> Steve does not provide estimates. He does not tell you later he charges for getting parts that are grouped together not individually priced. Steve stated he could not find a better transition piece than this. Yet at Lowe's there are tile edging which are metal for this exact purpose.  I have seen them at a the store Mattress Firm for transitioning carpet to tile.    <br /> <br /> <br />"
