"Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control, we needed to cancel the installation. The customer service representative was very kind and accommodating, issuing a refund of our deposit (as stated in the initial agreement). This was processed within a few business days."

"Office staff was courteous, and scheduled for next day. Workman was friendly. I thought it odd that he had to go back to his shop for something on such a simple job. I didn't get an estimate at the beginning--my bad--and the bill was exorbitant. When I called to ask for a breakdown between labor and parts, what I got instead was a different figure and an apology, saying she'd "entered the wrong job number," or something similar, suggesting that they just charge by the job category. I don't like this way of doing things. The fitting he put on my faucet is not anything like the standard fitting for an outdoor faucet, and it's mounted way off center. Sloppy job."

"Although the project turned out to be more complicated and took longer than expected, this had little to do with <br /> the builder or his sub-contractors. Primarily the delays were due to weather, financing issues, and poor <br /> communications on the part of the town's code enforcement officer. <br /> Let me address this last issue first. Everything seemed to be alright until the pad was poured. The code <br /> enforcement officer was upset that she was not notified prior to the pouring of the cement so she could inspect <br /> the forms and re-bar. This and quot;misunderstandingand quot; occurred because the CEO never communicated to either myself or the <br /> contractor at what points during the project she wanted to perform inspections. However, from this point forward <br /> the CEO seemed to question every aspect of the project. Demonstrating considerable restraint and diplomacy, most <br /> of the time the contractor bowed to her demands (he was much , but drew the line at her trying to force him to <br /> install a water shutoff valve in a location that would likely have caused our well pump to burn out. In this <br /> case Greg Bragg stood his ground, backing it up with State of Maine statutes. <br /> With respect to the weather, June 2013 was one of the wettest on record for Maine. As far as financing, the <br /> magnitude and cost of the project exceeded what we had budgeted and we found out just how difficult it is to <br /> secure financing for rental property, especially if you are setting up a used mobile home. Consequently, we had <br /> to break the project into two phases. <br /> The demolition of the old house and initial site preparation went very smoothly as can be seen in this 8 minute <br /> YouTube video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CWaJEgV2iJE). <br /> Getting the mobile home onto the pad was a bit more interesting since the ground was still very muddy from all <br /> the rain we received in June and July. Fortunately, Greg Bragg of Bragg Builders had the foresight to keep a <br /> bulldozer onsite. As can be seen in this 8 minute YouTube video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ioZ1IFl-3CQ), <br /> the bulldozer was absolutely essential. <br /> The only other issue related to Bragg Builders portion of the project was a ruptured water line. Prior to <br /> constructing the gravel pad a brand new water line was installed and was even packed in sand to ensure rocks <br /> would not rupture the line. Unfortunately, a rupture occurred anyway. Fortunately, the contractor promptly <br /> installed a new water line, at no charge to us. <br />"

"Our bedroom closet was very hard to get into with the sliding doors. I thought that french door would work out for us. Also bathroom door had been dented and needed replacing .Contacted Blue Spruce Joinery about giving a estimate. Arived the same day, looked over project and gave estimate on the spot. He had several cataloges with different doors, so we could pick out he ones we liked. We agreed on the price and the doors were ordered. It took about 3 day to get the doors and as soon as they arrived Tom made a appointment to install them. It took two days to complete the installation. Tom arrived on time every day and after working all day left the jobsite as clean as when he arrived. I had no problems at all working with Blue Spruce Joinery. His work is impecable and everything is done the right way. I would not think twice about calling Blue Spruce Joinery I was very impressed with the work that was preformed."

"Excellent service, friendly workers, material quality looks good and the fence looks well put together: straight, even and sturdy. We were so pleased we asked them to come back and do an aluminum gate for our back porch soon after completing the fence; that job was done very nicely too. The dog now enjoys the back yard and the bears will hopefully be kept out. <br />"

"The work all has gone smoothly and the results are excellent: better than I could have imagined.  Roy and his team do quality work at fair prices and are incredibly pleasant to work with.  I have an old house that needs lots of work and  Roy tackles each project with enthusiasm and professionalism.  He offers sound advice, but also listens carefully to the client's wishes.  I have used another contractor previously and thought that they did good work, but since working with Roy I realize that the other contractor simply does not compare in terms of service. This is my second time using Roy's Carpentry and will not be my last.  There seems to be nothing that Roy cannot do!"
