"Daniel waited until he heard what I was hoping to accomplish before he started spray painting lines on my lawn (yes, that has actually happened). He offered several suggestions which improved the impact of the overall project. I now have a sidewalk from the right side of the driveway up to the front porch steps. I also have a sidewalk from the left side of the driveway the entire length of the back side of the house curving around the far end and stopping at the porch entry to my workshop. At the same time, he also installed 8 concrete piers for replacing my back deck. And, there are downspout drain lines under the sidewalks so water is diverted to the outside of the walkways instead of trapped between the sidewalks and the house. It's nice to see gentle curves instead of right angles. I've already started talking to him about putting in a retaining wall..."

"So like a number of other house, we had sinking front concrete steps. Our sizable front stairs had sunk about 6 inches and pull the attached walk with it. It got to the point we just had to have them replaced. I checked out various options for having them mud-jacked, but my concern was that that would not really fix the issue for the long term and they would just end up sinking again. After getting several bids we went with Tavis at Quality Concrete and Masonry. They weren't the cheapest bid but seemed the most trustworthy and had the best plan to make sure the problem did not re-occur. Tavis started on a Tuesday and was essentially work complete by Saturday. His work was very high quality. Because of the site, amount of concrete, etc. he used 1.5" rebar instead of the standard 0.5" rebar to tie the steps to the house. ( I've never even seen 1.5" rebar before.) Site was left clean each day and the final product exceeded our expectations."

"AJ came out and checked out the two tasks, and responded promptly with a reasonable, professional bid. They had several projects going but scheduled us in as soon as they were able, keeping us informed and up to date as to when that would be. I greatly appreciated the fact that when they said they would be at the house they were there on time in each case, and the one time they were delayed AJ called ahead to let me know he would be 30 minutes late. As for the work - they got the oak tree down (it was a ~2 ft thick trunk about 60-70 ft high), and they prepped the area for the new shed nice and level and put down crushed run gravel evenly. All in all I was very happy with the job and I would definitely use them again."

"Went very well. The company was a pleasure to deal with in all respects and did what they said, on schedule. It was a major job that involved excavating under a porch and extending drainage lines way into the back yard, completed over a couple of weeks. At the end of the project, I believed that the slope of a section of the reconstructed front walk was not quite right. Randy had his guys back out here within a couple of days to redo it. We'd had a major water problem in the basement since buying the house over 10 years ago. CWI did the waterproofing in the spring, and we've had a couple of long, heavy rains since then. Basement is now completely dry."
