"Work that is done without any issues are easy reviews to write.  However in this case we ran into a major issue where the stain used on the garage doors did not match the existing front door as was a requirement.  (Not even close).  We addressed the issue with Rick and he agreed there was a problem.  He sanded the doors, completely removing the stain and started over with the correct stain.

As stated before,projects that go off without a hitch are easy reviews, but when you do run into a problem, how that service provider addresses the issue speaks well of their overall commitment to their profession.  Rick handled the issue well and did whatever it took to make us happy.  This could have been catastrophic but in the end we love our new garage doors."

"Purchased a member special and was contacted by Dominique the next working day.  We agreed upon a date that was three weeks or so away.  I was not in any rush since I had to purchase the paint, and they had other jobs already scheduled.  Dominique performed the pre - inspection and the power wash was scheduled on a specific date, it was a Friday so the house could dry over the weekend, but an equipment failure prevented them from making it.  I was contacted prior to our scheduled date by the company and I understood - stuff happens.  Before the rescheduled date I was contacted once again and requested a delay due to an employee's injury.  Again I understand the way small business runs, so the work started on our next scheduled date.  Power wash went well.  After several days of drying, the tape guy showed up and did a great job.  Once the three painters showed up it was like clockwork.  The three were a professional seasoned team.  The house took two days to complete - two coats body and trim, sprayed and rollered.  The men were neat, engaging, and cleaned up after themselves.  I don't think I could have done as good a job as them.  There were only several small items that needed a touch up during the inspection, but they took care of those minor items to my satisfaction.   Considering the unforseen delays, and an offer by Dominique to paint my garage doors to make up for the delays, I believe them to be a very honest company.  I would use them again and have recommended this company to others I know.

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
