"I hired Robert Clark to repair and seal my flat roof on my Spanish style home. I had first noticed alot of granulation washing off the roof and coming out of the gutters. The roof had developed two small leaks this winter from the rains that we had. Robert came out and examined the roof, identified the problems and offered me a couple of solutions. Ultimately Robert ended up doing a repair and a seal coating on the roof surface. He is extremely knowledgable about roofing, and comes from a multi-generational family of roofers, and was very willing to take time to explain, discuss, provide pictures and explanations for the suspected source of the leak and the best fixes. "My project was for new roof n gutters, I had to have my old 3 layers of shingles removed. The team that demolished old roof shingles did a good job. Although it was a messy task, plastic sheeting was laid down n all material was disposed off. New plywood was laid down, there were a couple of spots that the plywood was not laying completely flat n was addressed. New shingles were installed in 2 days n look great. For the new seamless gutter install, the existing fascia needed painting but Newhaus wanted an extra 4,000.00 dollars to do it. So I hired a separate painter to do it for less than half the price. The gutters proposed were not the style I wanted n had to have them switch to what I wanted. The new gutters were installed n look great. Overall I am satisfied with the quality of the work n materials used although there were a couple leaks at corners that has to be re-sealed. However dealing with Newhaus could have been better, upon signing the contract online I did not hear from them for over a week to let me know the status or when work would start. I had to text the original sales guy to ask what was going on. The were also a couple of times workers did not show up when scheduled or were late from time that they were supposed to show up."

"When spring storms destroyed my ridge caps and caused leaks, I quickly realized I would need some work done. Of all the people who came, S.G. were by far the most respectful, helpful, and transparent. From the very beginning, they did not waste my time with needless upsales, they never pressured me, and were transparent about their pricing (the cost of materials and labor) at the outset. Greg was responsive and direct throughout the process. They first offered just ridge cap work and never pressured me into a full re-roof--and when it became obvious during repairs that I would in fact need a new roof, they did at the good price they initially offered at the outset. No BS--just honesty and good work. Greg and Sam will be my first call for any future projects or repairs and I will be enthusiastically recommending them to anyone I know with construction or roofing needs.
