"We had River City Wrap last week overlay our cracking cement driveway and walkway with aggregate. Took them 3 days which we expected and was told the agenda. This was a very pleasant experience, the project came in on time and on budget. The workmanship is outstanding and was exactly what we contracted for. The crew came out on time, got right to work and explained to us exactly what to expect and when. The owner, Brandon stopped by once the driveway was completed, reviewed the work and then explained what we needed to do in order make sure the work set properly. "I initially contacted Tommy through the Angie's List website, and he called me promptly to set up an appointment to visit my home and review the work I wanted done. He then followed up with an email giving me a quote for the work. Since I felt the quoted price was reasonable and he had such good reviews, we scheduled the work for the next week. I became ill later that week, and Tommy worked with me to reschedule. On the first work day, Tommy and his assistant, Lou, arrived as scheduled at 9:00 a.m. and immediately began covering furniture with clean plastic, tenting kitchen cabinets, covering floors with drop cloths, and taping woodwork. Smaller items, such as dining room chairs, were even moved into the garage. Although I offered them lunch, both said that they preferred to work straight through the day. Since I still was not feeling well, I ended up going into a bedroom to lie down and ended up falling asleep. When I awoke at 5:30, they had left, but not before removing all plastic and drop cloths, replacing the furniture, and sweeping the floor. The second day went much as the first, except that I changed my mind about the color for one of the rooms, and Tommy made a special trip to the paint store to get the new paint. The bedroom, bathroom, and den were completed that day, the plaster in the garage was repaired, and Tommy installed the under-cabinet lighting (not normally one of their services but done as a special favor since I had no one else to do it). My house was left in perfect order when they finished, and they even borrowed my vacuum to make sure that the floors were left clean. I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience with Always Painting by Tommy. Not only is the quality of their work outstanding, but I felt that their prices were fair. They were prompt and reliable and provided good follow through when minor issues arose. Both Tommy and Lou are gentlemen who conduct themselves professionally, take obvious pride in their work, and go out of their way to try to please the customer. I have already had them back for another smaller painting job and would not hesitate to recommend them to others who might need their services. In fact, a family member who is renovating a house will be calling them for a quotation when they are ready to paint this spring. <br />"

"Job was completed right away and quickly which was crucial as we needed to move in and had a brief window to allow for a company to provide an estimate and complete the painting. Work was acceptable. Supervisor stated that they routinely patched textured walls but the work on this was poor. Required me to go behind them to ensure plates were removed, patchy work was fixed, and clean up was adequate. Found our front door open with no one home - one of the doors had not been adequately shut and locked and popped open. Signs were put in our yard without permission and we received a letter from our HOA about it."

"They completed a floor, bathtub, and wall grout cleaning/restoration job in our bathroom. They got something on our chrome bathtub faucet controls and lower water spout that stained/tarnished the finish. They indicated that had never happened to them before. They advised us to use a couple of products to remove the stains. This did not work. They came back out to remove the stain to no avail. They also got something on our baseboard heater housing that cause it to rust. This was after we had just repainted it a week before as per their instructions. |This job was done with an apparent lack of care for our property."
