The installer was terrific. He got there right on time and took out the old carpeting and hauled it away and then installed the new carpet in two hours.It looks beautiful. "I was considering either hardwood or carpeting to replace my very old upstairs carpeting (~1,000 sq. ft.). Since the premium carpeting we preferred was within a couple grand of hardwood, I decided to go with pre-finished hardwood. The next week it was installed in 2 days by a group sub-contracted by Empire. That group did an excellent job and the floor is beautiful and expertly installed. My wife and I simply sat downstairs and answered any questions that arose."
